I picked up my skirts and walked halfway down the aisle.
Then I stopped.
I looked back at Jack's pained and confused expression, then down to Ricky's pleading eyes.
"Addie, I love you more than I let on. It makes me happy every time I see your face, and I wish you could be mine. Because I really love you."
Ricky had started to cry, and I looked back at Jack, noticing he was holding back tears too.
I was stuck in the middle and didn't know what to do.
So I did the only thing I could do.
I turned my back on Jack and ran down the aisle, out the doors, and into the room where I had gotten ready that morning. I locked the door and sunk to the floor, letting out a sob.
I heard a tap on the door. "Addie?"
"I-I just need time to think," I told Jack. "You and Ricky can stay, but there's no need for anyone else to."
"Okay," he replied, then went out to make the announcement.
I sat of the floor with my head in my hands and thought.
I thought back to all the times I had with Jack and Ricky, wondering which I should choose.
Wondering who I could choose.
And I slipped into my thoughts.
