Emerson had a rough life . She never knew when her next meal would be, or where she was going to sleep from night to night . One thing she did know how to do was survive. Emerson survived on her own for 17 years . She went from school to school she was always the loner girl who wouldn't let anyone too close or really close at all she had this horrid habit of always pushing people away but that's what's happened when you were abused mentally and physically at a young age . Emerson was you're stereotypical traumatized teenaged girl . When people tried to befriend her she would run the opposite way eventually she got involved in gangs and that my friends is where the story begins ..........
