I sat with my back in a corner. My lips were in a relaxed frown and my hood was up, covering my raven hair , sheilding my green eyes and pale skin from the sun. I watched as people were sitting in their groups at the table. I sighed as I completed another sudoku game. There wasn't anything for me to do. The people at my school rarely speak to me. Mainly because I am different in several respects. With the world I live in, I am a freak. Sometimes I wish I lived in Domino City.
With Yugi, Grandpa, Tristan , and Joey. I want to get close to my duel monster cards, and go through an adventure. I want to hold Yami's hand as he tries to remember his past. I want to be the one to punch Kaiba when he's being a jerk. And I want to be the one to kiss Yami and be in his arms. I want to be able to smile and laugh even though I haven't been able to for years. I want to be with them.
A heavy breath came from within my throat as the bell rang giving all student body the signal that it was time to go home. I didn't want to go home. I will go for a walk instead.
I made my way through the streets. Unknowing of the path laid before me. Tears fell down my face as I kept my head down. White shoes came into my blurred vision.
" Why may I ask, is such a young girl with tears in her eyes walking in an unfortunate neighborhood?" Asked an arabic voice.
I looked up to see an Egyptian man looking at me through golden eyes stood there. He wore a white turban, and a cream colored robe with white pants. He wore a gold key on a cord around his neck. Shadi?
"I don't want to go home. It isn't safe for me there. My heart belongs somewhere I can't go because it doesn't exsist." I replied with a sniff.
"It's not that it doesn't exsist, girl. It's that you haven't seen it yet. I am Shadi. (Knew it)The guardian of the Royal tombs and a messenger of Anubis. I can see that your heart belongs to my world, but you must first ask the ones who created it if you can become apart of it."
I looked at him in confusion. My heart began to race. He pressed his key to my head as if he were unlocking the door. Then everything went black.
My head ached as I stood. Three giant figures loomed over me. I could recognize them anywhere. Slifer the sky dragon, Obilisk the tormentor, and the winged dragon of Ra.
