I woke up to my alarm ringing. I dreaded hearing that noise. It was so annoying, but it worked. I grabbed my phone and checked it, like a normal person, when I heard my little sister scream. I jumped up and ran into her room.
"What?!" I yelled out, as I burst through her door.
"I can't find Mr. Snuggles!" Emma cried out. Mr. Snuggles was her stuffed bear. She couldn't live without it.
"Well, if we look hard enough, we can find it." I reassured her. I hugged her and we began looking. I went to our living room where my mom was passed out, like normal, and I began looking. I looked under the couch, under the table, in the toy basket, but I couldn't find it.
"Emma, have you found it?" I asked, walking into her room that she shared with Braden, my little brother.
"Yeah. It was right here." Emma explained, pointing to Braden's crib.
"Oh good. Well you should start packing. Ask Julie to help you. Tell her I told you that she needs to help you." I explained to Emma. Julie was also my younger sibling. She was 3 years younger than me, so she was 10. She is a bad kid, always sneaking out, smoking, and making out with her boyfriend. Reminding you, they are 10. 10!
We were moving today, again. We currently lived in Florida, but we are moving to California. It's the middle of the school year, so I'm quite nervous. It's my first year of middle school, so it's all so different.
I went to go wake my mom up so that she can get ready. Our Uncle owned a moving truck company, so we get a moving truck for free. He is really supportive which is amazing.
"Mom," I whisper, giving her a little shake, "you need to get up."
"What?" My mom says, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"Uncle Andrew will be here with the truck soon. You got to get up." I informed her. She nodded and thanked me. While she was getting dressed, I made cereal for everyone, except for Braden because he eats applesauce.
"Julie, you gotta get up. Uncle Andrew is going to be here in like an hour, and you're helping pack up the truck." I sternly informed Julie.
"Who said I have to help?" Julie spat back, rolling the opposite way of me.
"Me. That's who. Now get up." I said, rolling my eyes and leaving. I couldn't make out what but, she was yelling things from her room. If I let her have her tantrum, she'll just end up doing what I asked.
An hour passed and my Uncle finally showed.
"Hey pumpkin!" Uncle A shouted as he picked up Emma.
"Hi Uncle A!" Emma shouted back and hugged him. I then came outside and greeted him. After everyone said their hello's, we had to start loading up the truck. I went to my room and grabbed my boxes. I put them all in the truck, then I helped Emma and Braden. Julie was doing her room and mom and Uncle A were doing the living room, kitchen, etc..
"Thank you so much, Andrew." My mom thanked Uncle A.
"Anything for my family." Uncle A said, hugging us all. We got in the van, and left to California. Hopefully I'll fit in...
