Kristen: I'm 5'4 with black long wavy hair. I have grenish grayish eyes. I am very proud of my skin color. I am 23 years old.

A'Kierra: I look just like my mommy but my hair is really curly and my eyes are brown. I am 2 years old.

Aubrey: I'm Kristens best friend and I almost look like her twin sister. I have big bouncy curls and black hair. I'm darkskin and proud. My eyes are brown and I'm 5'5 and 23.

Brandon: I'm Kristen's boyfriend. I'm a brown 6'2 24 year old. I have brown eyes. And I'm glad to be apart of Kristen's life.

Flashback

"Are you sure?"

"Do you love me?"

"You know I do and yes I want to do this."

"But- if you love me then you would do this for me."

I inhaled deeply, "ok."

" Babe.....Im pregnant".......

"I HATE YOU!!! YOU'RE A DISAPPOINTMENT. YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT!!!" my boyfriend Trevor said.

" I thought you would be happy for us. We're having a family now isn't that great?!"

"No! Yo stupid ass can't do shit right. This ain't my baby, what the hell am I gonna do with a baby huh?!!"

Tears started to well up in my eyes. The man I love doesn't want anything to do with this situation. The man who committed to be there isn't willing to. Why am I so stupid?! He's right I do ruin everything.

"You know what I'm leaving your sorry ass. I ain't got time fo this shit!"

"No baby please I'm sorry. Please stay baby I promise I'll do everything you won't have to worry about the baby!"

You damn right I won't have to worry about it. I'm done wit yo ass for good. I'm done!!!"

Kristen's POV

"Mommy, I had a bad dream." My 2 year old daughter told me as she tried to climb into my bed.

"Aw baby it's ok come lay with mommy." As I lean down to pick her up, I feel a wet spot on her bottom.

"Munchkin did you pee pee on yourself?"

"Um.... Maybe.... Maybe not." She said as she smiled hard.

"Ok stinky poo let's go give you a lil bath."

As I give her a bath I start to notice how much she really looks like her father. It was pretty hard getting over him, and I'm not gunna let those feelings come back. He wasn't worth it I just can't go back to the past.

After washing her I decided to get ready as well. I put on a grey croped shirt ,with some black jeans, and some flats. I left my hair in its natural curls and did my make-up as a simple look.

A'kierra is wearing a denim vest, white skirt ,with red converses. I put her hair in her natural curls and topped it off with a white bow.

"Mommy, I wook cwute today."

"Yes you do baby.". I said as I lightly chuckled at her silliness. I swear she is something else.

"Alright come on baby girl let's go bye bye," I said as I grabbed her to leave. I hope today will be a good day.

At work...

"Hey Kristen," my best friend Aubrey said.

"Hey gurl what's up?"

"Nothin really just the usual being annoyed by Trina fake ass.''

"Girl don't even pay her no mind. Her hoe ass can take herself somewhere else," I said as she laughed.

"Lmao you right. But um... I know I always ask this but how u holding up?''

''To be honest, I don't even know anymore. I mean he was a big part of my life and seeing munchkin everyday makes me think of him. I didn't think we would have ever cams to that you know?''

''Yeah girl I understand but if he showed he didn't want to be there, then its time to let go.''

''I know.... And I did its just he would have been a great father.''

''Yeah he would have but he wasn't and isn't so u gotta let go.'' She's right, its best if I do. He hurt me and didnt give a damn. Its time to move on.

"You're right...."

"So, how is my baby girl doing?"

"She's great honesty. I'm glad she hasn't asked about anything."

"Well she will someday so we will have to be prepared."

Yeah. Well how's Chase?"

"He's great looking just like his father. God knows how much I miss him."

"I know girl just hang in there I'm here for you. It will get better," I said hugging her.

"Yeah... let's get to work."
Oh yeah that's right I own my own bueaty solon. Ever since that night I had to make sure that I could get back on my feet to take care of me and munchkin. We also live in LA, so a lot of opportunities here.
