  The Beginning

"Mommy, Daddy" That was the last thing Mr. and Mrs. Lovelace heard before their lives ended with a crash.

5 year old Josie Lovelace and her family were on there way to Aunt Maria's house for Christmas when the unspeakable happened. Mr. Lovelace looked away for a moment to answer his daughters question when the car suddenly swerved and hit a truck right next to them. Mr Lovelace quickly swerved the other way but the ice covering the ground made them slide too far too fast, for another truck, this one larger than the first, hit the incoming car and the car shattered, killing Mr. and Mrs. Lovelace and severely injuring Josie.

When Josie awoke she saw death and destruction. She hated it, she wanted to cry, but couldn't. She found her bunny and her mothers phone. Josie opened the Gallery and looked at the photo her mom took at the museum. This was her mothers favorite photo. She always talked about it. Josie put the phone is her pocket.

People arrived. They wrapped her in a blanket to protect her body from the cold, but Josie was not cold, she was empty. She couldn't feel a thing. She hated the feeling. She wanted to be the dead one. Her parents were the ones who helped every person they saw. They were the ones who kissed her boo-boo's. They were the ones who were loved and were cared for. No one loved or cared for Josie. Only her parents did. It should have been her. That's what she still thinks to this day.

On that day, Josie had vowed to never complain, and to never love ever again. she vowed to not complain because she was always one to complain. She always complained about being to hot, or being to cold, sometimes she would complain about not having enough candy or perhaps about being to bored. Josie complained about everything. She vowed to not love for that would only hurt her and others.
