Forbidden Soul

Chapter 1 : "Amnesia."

I wandered through the forest with the moon as my guiding light. I don't know why I'm here or how I got here. My mind is hazy and couldn't remember a thing, except for my name which is Isabella. I thought hard for answers but couldn't get one, for my head will start to hurt. I feel drowsy all of the sudden, I want to sleep for I feel exhausted all of the sudden; I don't know what I did that made me so tired.

So I found the most comfortable tree and sat there, a tune came to my mind and I hummed it unconsciously. In this cold weather I thought where I should go, I have no ideas where. Slowly I'm starting to feel scared and lonely. I started to shiver of the cold, so I decided to walk around for heat.

As I wonder around more, I heard a snapping of fallen branches. I'm not alone which I feel relieved yet it frightens me, out of instincts I called out;

"Anybody there? Hello?" I only heard my echo, nothing. Another snapping I turn to that direction. I'm shacking out of fear of the cold night. "Hello?" I whispered.

I step forward cautiously. My hands close to my chest. Then someone spoke which gives me joy.

"How come a child like you is wandering around the forest? And such a dangerous time at that." Someone step out of the darkness, which I could see his face. It is a man who is way older than me, I'm hypnotized by the glowing red eyes, I think they're pretty.

Then I heard a chuckle which snapped me out. "You shouldn't be smiling child."

"Why not Mister? Your eyes are glowing." As I got closer and he kneeled down to my level. "You have pretty eyes." He chuckles again which made me giggle with him.

"How old are you?"

"I forgot. Eight? Or Nine?" I asked myself.

"Didn't your parents tell you not to talk to strangers?" At the mention of parents, I remembered nothing of them. Do I even have one? Where are they?

"I don't know if I have one." I spoke shyly looking down.

"So Mommy and Daddy abandoned you?" he asked and I shrug and started to wonder why can't I remember them, where did I even come from? Where are they? "Pity." What does he mean pity? Then he stood.

"Well your mommy and daddy won't be looking for you now." I looked up, to see sharp teeth from his mouth his eyes glowed brighter.

I'm Scared...

I took steps back. I'm starting to cry.

"What's wrong child? Don't cry, come over here so I can take you to your parents." I shook my head, and run.

I'm Scared...

I heard him laughed but I run as fast as I can while my vision was blurred because I was crying and screaming for help.

Then I was grab from behind, I can't wiggle out of his hold. My arms and feet are locked using his arm, while the other is holding my mouth, preventing me to scream. I tried biting on his hand but he just laughed, I couldn't even penetrate my teeth unto the thick gloves he's wearing. He slowly tilted my head; I could feel him kissing my neck. I don't like this, I want to go home! I'm sobbing madly.

I'm Scared...

"Such a pretty neck, only to be stained by blood. What a shame." I closed my eyes as I feel his teeth touch my neck, but it didn't pierce my skin. I was knocked flat on the snowy floor. Someone covered my eyes when I was about to look at the man who was about to bite me and turned me around so I'm facing a woman's chest as she covers my ears. I can't hear anything but slight shouts.
