Mom, I can't take it anymore. I need a break" I said to my mom.
"Oh sweetie, you don't have to fight for him anymore. If he's only giving you pain instead of love, LEAVE HIM" she said.
NO. I know and I'm aware that our relationship is not healthy. But there's something-something that's holding me back to leave him. I know he loves me but this just don't feel right. It seems like I can't feel the spark anymore. I then look again at my mom who's looking at me with worried eyes.
"I uh can I have a plane ticket going to manila mom? I just need to talk to my bestfriend." Right. My bestfriend-cecilia for 8 years since highschool. God I missed her. I need to talk to her soon. She's the only one who can understand me. I badly need her presence. "Is that what you really want?" Here she goes again. My overprotective mother. "Yes mom. I'll be alright. I promise you." "Well then. If that is what my baby wants." Thank god she's fine with it. "Thanks mom. This helps a lot." I smiled at her and she suddenly hugged me "you'll be okay baby. I just hope that you'll be able to realize that he's not good for you" here she goes again. I know she's not fond of him. But I can't really blame her after she saw what really happens behind our oh-so-happy-relationship. I just hugged her back and smile a bitter kind of smile. Then she left my room and I feel empty. Again. I looked at the window. Thinking about everything. The what ifs'. The should I do it or not. The should I break up with him or not. The "can I bear it seeing him with other girls". God help me.
I woke up and saw a tray of food and a letter? I took the letter first since I'm not hungry. "Guest details Lorraine Sebastian" Oh god! The plane ticket!! "Arrival March 21?!" what the? Today is march 20!! I looked for my phone and called my mom.
"Please pick up the phoooone mooom" she's still not answering it!
"Yes sweetie? Did you like it?" Finally.
"MOM! IS THIS FOR REAL?"
"You're too loud sweetie! Hahaha"
"Thank you mommy!!! Can't thank you enough!! You're the best momma in the world!!!"
"Oh please stop it. I know." She laughed sweetly. I know she loved it when I talk to her like that.
"Hehe. Thanks mom. Really." I mean it.
"Start packing up your clothes and go call cecilia. I love you sweetie."
"Awww. I love you too mom." Then she ended the call. BEST MOM EVER. I looked for the messenger app in my phone. "Harry Styles' Wifey" yep. I nicknamed her that. My die hard 1d fan bestfriend.
"Ceeeeee!!!!!" I typed while smiling. Can't wait to tell her that I'll be in manila tomorrow morning!!!
"Lorriiiiiii!!!!!! Hey! What's new? Hahaha"
"Guess what?"
"Guess what???" She's being silly again.
"Jeez. Just answer me WHAT"
"Uhhh what?" I took a picture of my plane ticket and sent it to her.
"OH MY GOD LORRI!"
"Haha I know right?"
"We'll do lots of things!!! I'll take you every where you want to go!"
"I love that cee. So uh I'll just pack up my things. See you tomorrow?"
"DEFINITELY. I'll pick you up at the airport. Will be there at 10 am exact time."
"Ok cee! Thaaaanks!!"
I put aside my phone. And this thought suddenly ran through my mind. "SHOULD I TELL HIM?"
