Makayla's POV
"Grandma I'm going downtown for the day to meet some friends okay?" I say as I grab my bag and phone. "Okay. Call me when you get there. Make sure you have your phone, and when are you going to be back?" My grandma tells me. I wave my phone in the air as proof that I have it with me. "Ill be back latest at 5" I say putting on my coat and heading towards the door. "Bye grandma, love you" I say as I open the door. "Bye Kayla. Have fun" She says as the door is closing behind me.
The bus stop is only a couple houses down, so it takes me about 3 minutes to get there. Im actually so excited! This is my first time ever taking the bus downtown! Im also really excited to hang out with Caleb all day. While I wait for the bus I put on my headphones, and blast my music.
Soon enough the bus gets to my stop. I place my change into the ticket dispenser, and I make my way through the bus, looking for Caleb. I soon find him, but the seat beside him is taken. I end up sitting a couple rows in front of him, and listen to my music until the seat beside him clears up.
'Riptide' by Vance Joy played through my headphones as someone took a seat beside me. I looked over and saw Caleb sitting there looking at me quite contently. "Well hello there" I say as I remove the headphones. "Hi, you look very nice today. I like your headphones" He said smiling at me. "Thanks, they were a Christmas present" I said taking out my phone and pausing the music. "So.. how is your first bus ride?" He asked hoping for the best. "Good. I was hoping to sit with you longer, but whatever" I said surprised, I kinda liked the bus. "Thats good. Well Im sitting with you now, and we still have about 30 minutes till our stop" Caleb said, looking on the bright side. I smiled, placed my headphones back onto my head and leaned my head against Caleb's shoulder. He eventually leaned his head against mine, seeing as he was taller than I was, and we stayed like that until our stop.

"Makayla, its our stop" I heard someone say while shaking my shoulder. My eyelids open and I appear to still be on the bus. We have stopped for the time being and I see Caleb holding my things, getting up and heading toward the exit. My mind finally clicks and I too get up and make my way to the exit, following closely behind Caleb. We entered the coffee shop and got in line, to order.
"Hello, can I get a drink started for you?" The lady at the counter asked me as it became my turn to order. "Hi, could I get a tall Soy Vanilla Latte please, and a piece of blueberry coffee cake" I say taking out my wallet. After realizing I dont actually have it I turn to Caleb and ask for my purse. He shakes his head, takes out his wallet and gives the lady at the counter money for my drink and food. "Anything for you sir?" She asks while getting my order started. "Yeah, ill have a tall Americano. Thanks" He says with such ease it amazes me. "To go or for here?" The lady asks. Caleb says "For here" as he is paying. "What names should I put on the cups?" She asks before we move out of the way for the next people. "Eleanour on the Latte and Louis on the Americano" I say before Caleb speaks up.
"Who's names did you put on our cups?" Caleb asks as we wait for them to arrive. "They are my OTP" I say simply, while breaking off a piece of my coffee cake and placing it in my mouth. "Your what?" He asks. "My OTP. It stands for 'One True Pairing'. If you say two people are your OTP, that means that you think they are made for each other. That they are cute as a couple or would be if they were dating. Im guessing you dont have one?" I try and explain as well as I can, offering Caleb a piece of my coffee cake. "Actually.. I do have one" Caleb says after eating a piece of coffee cake. "Really? Who?" I ask, very curious. "Us" He says simply, grabbing his drink, that had just arrived, walking over to a table and taking a seat.
Wow. He just.. he just said that him and I were his OTP. Wow. I stand there for a couple seconds stunned at what Caleb had just said. "Excuse me" Someone behind me says, snaping me back to reality. "Sorry" I say, grabbing my drink and heading toward Caleb.
