CHAPTER TWO
Jessica walked down the hallway, Agatha in tow. Jessica was wearing a dark purple strapless dress. The dress covering her purple open-toe shoes. Agatha in a red dress, the straps just below the shoulders. Her dress doing the same, covering her red heels. Both their shoes clicked as The two large double doors, with gold borders around each door, opened. There was a long table, Jason at the end. Jessica walked over and sat to his right as Agatha sat to his left. Not long after, Josh entered, he was fixing his black tie that went perfectly with his blue-ish, purple-ish button shirt. He smiled as he sat down next to Agatha. After a short lunch, Josh took Agatha back to his small lab at the end of the hallway. He paced back and forth deep in thought. " There's no way that could have happened... ". Agatha tilted her head in a confused mannor. " THE FIRE!" he yells making Agatha jump back at his sudden outburst. Josh sighs " I'm sorry, it's just not possible. " " I have no idea how it happened Josh, honest! " He stops walking and presses his palms, spread apart on the desk. " ... We should tell Jason-- " " You said we weren't going to tell anyone! " " We have to know what's going on!" Agatha presses her hands in a tight fist as three test tubes filled with water shatter. " ... Agatha.... Did you do that? " Josh walks over to the shattered test tubes. " I.... I don't know! " She says relaxing her hands. " ... Water... " he gets a sudden realization and turns quickly towards Agatha. " W-What is it Josh? " " ... You don't get it? Fire, Water, .... I bet I know what's next. But.... I thought we killed the last one... " Agatha walks towards him even more confused. " Killed the last one of what?! Josh what's going on!" He stays silent for a while before saying " Forget any of this... " " But didn't you just say to tell Jason about-- " " I said forget it! " Agatha, looking a bit hurt by his sudden mood-change, turned around and left his lab slamming the door shut. Stomping back to her room, she had seen Jessica. " I heard Josh yelling and glass shatter. Is everything okay? " " Everything's fine... " She continues to walk past her rather quickly. The minute she closed the door to her room, hot tears rolled down her face. It was all so overwhelming to her. Just as she began to sob, it started to rain heavily followed by lightning. Back in Joshes lab, he heard the rain hitting against the windows. He opened the door right as Jessica was enetering. " This rain just came from nowhere! Crazy the weather can be, can't it Josh? " Josh just gave her a nod and ran out of the room. He ran down the hall and quickly opened the door to Agatha's room. " Just as I thought... " he mumbles to himself walking over to Agatha. She didn't hear Josh walk in and continued to sniff and wipe tears out of her blurry vision. He walked over and knelt down on the floor next to her hugging her tightly. " I-I don't understand..." she says between sobs as she cries into his shoulder, soaking his purple dress shirt. " .... I don't either..." he says with a small sigh. With the rain slamming against the window, it slowly drowns out her sobs.
