"Get out of my way, loser!" I hear someone yell to me and push past me in the hallway.

God, I am so thankful that it's the last day of school so I can relax for the summer. I am ready to get away from all these rude people. To go away for the summer. I had been saving all summer to head to Super Nova Island. My parents had told me if I saved and paid for it myself I could spend the summer there. It's a island camp for girls that are fifteen to seventeen where they can embrace their artistic side while enjoying and living alone on an island. I love to draw and I just need to be away from the mess going on at home, so both parents agreed. Not much choice since they have been fighting so much it seemed like the best solution for them too.

I grab my stuff out the locker, and head out the front of the school. I am so glad that my sophomore year is over. I am fifteen years old and never once have I ever felt so glad to be away from there. I normally like school, but for the last four months all I have heard is my parents fighting and telling each other they each other. I figured then I should go away for the summer and let them get a divorce. I have no idea where I will be when I get back, but three months away from here could actually change me.

I get home to an empty house and head upstairs to my room. I have to pack as I leave tonight at ten and have to be at the airport two hours prior to that. I find my suitcase and the list of stuff that is said to bring.

We can not wait to see when you land here in Super Nova Island.

I grab all my summer clothes, bathing suit, bathroom supplies and pack them neatly in my suitcase. I put some of my bigger art stuff in there knowing I didn't want to carry them on the plane. Find a carry on bag and put my lap top, cords, I pad, and a few clothing items in there just in case. I get my money out the desk when I find a note from my parents.

Sorry we couldn't give you more money but this what we could afford to send you with. Have fun, granny will pick you up 6. please be ready.

I grab my phone and send her a thank you. Take the cash she gave me and put it in my purse with the rest of my money. Head downstairs to wait for my grandma to get there.

I go to the fridge and grab a sandwich and coke and eat real quick because I know it will be late when I get to the island and I want to be able to sleep on the plane. I feel for my headphones when I remember, I haven't grabbed them yet and run back upstairs.

Just when I get back downstairs I hear grandma honk her horn and head out to the car. I feel sort of bad because I am leaving home for the summer, but I am so excited to be doing so as well. I wont get to see my parents for my sweet sixteen, but really how sweet could it possibly be with my parents fighting all the time. I put my bag in the trunk of the car and climb into the seat next to grandma, only its grandpa not grandma.
