I tapped my foot on the ground as I stared out the foggy glass my dull green eyes watched as snow slowly began to pile up. I began to get lost in my own quiet paradise. A low voice yelled my name and I quickly snapped out of my joyful dreaming and bolted down the dark stairs to the living room where a man I once knew as my father stared at me with dull dark eyes and threw the beer bottle he had in his hand at me. I didnt react or wince as the bottle broke on my pale skin. I turned around warm blood ran down the side of my face and disappeared into the dark gloom of my room. I sighed as I threw myself on my bed not even caring enough to wipe the blood.  I laid there for a few moments and suddenly I jumped up. I cleaned the cut I had, thankfully it wasnt very visable. I threw on a BMTH band t-shirt and some skinny jeans and converse ad to top it off my black PATD hoodie. I slowly opened the window it slightly creaked and a blast of icy wind blew inside. I suddered it ruffled my long raven hair, I clutched my hoodie tightly and glanced for a moment at my small simple room. I stared at a photo of a lady with short brown hair and eyes similar to mine, for a whole heart beart I felt grief but it was quickly replaced by the dark feeling around me.

-5 years Earlier-

I gripped a Express bag tightly in my small hands, "Do you think he'll like it, mom?" I glanced up at my mother. She chuckled and nodded, "Of course he will!" We both walked down the busy streets till we reached a calm and quiet neighborhood. He neared the house and I stared up at the sky nervously. We reached the house and my mom slowly opened the door only to be welcomed by the strong scent of blood and the red substance everywhere splattered on the walls and on the floor. My mom dropped her keys and ran inside only to be tackled to the ground by my dad. I didnt scream because no sound would come out. My dad drew a once silver knife to my mom's throat and in the blink of in eye she laid lifeless on the floor and now he was staring at me his dull dead eyes were empty. There was no emotion in his lifeless eyes. "Clean this up NOW!" he ordered throwing the knife to the floor and laying on the sofa. I quickly obeyed him in fear he would kill me next.

-Present Day-

I glanced away from the photo I was 12 at the time of her death. I shook the thought away and jumped out of the window landing on a patch of snow yet still pain shot up my leg. I blinked the pain away and limped to the backyard where a huskey laid in the snow, "Twister!" I whisper yelled his name. Immediatly he got up and walked towards me. I climbed the iced over fence and grabbed his leash that hadnt been used in years. I latched him to it and led him outside. I quickly made a run for it. Getting as far as I could from the placed I used to call home.
