Well, Emily and Luke used to date and they also used to be best friends. They knew each other since they were babies. They even share the same birthday.
When they were 14, they confessed to each other on their birthday. And then they dated for 2 years.
One night, at a party, Emily caught Luke making out with her enemy the school slut, Ashleigh.

*emily's pov*
Where's Luke? I thought to myself. Thay boy urgh. This party is too loud. Sweaty bodies, smell of alcohol, sluts making out with random boys and so on. I went up the stairs because I can't find luke anywhere.
"Luke", I shouted again. Theres three doors. I opened the first door; ew theres a couple you know. I went on to open the second door. That's when my heart broke into pieces. Luke, my boyfriend, my best friend, my everything, was making out with Ashleigh, the school slut, my enemy.
"LUKE WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?" I yelled.
"HOW DARE YOU LUKE I THOUGHT YOU LOVE ME LUKE? WELL IM WRONG. HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME LUKE."
Luke looked shocked but also disgusted. He yelled at me. "WELL EMILY CAN YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. I DONT EVEN LOVE YOU. YOU ONLY WANT TO BE WITH BECAUSE YOU WANT MY POPULARITY CAN YOU GET OUT. OH AND IF YOURE THINKING, NO I DONT EVEN LOVE YOU EMILY. ASHLEIGHS WAY MORE BETTER THAN YOU. SHE'S SKINNY SEXY BEAUTIFUL, SHE'S PERFECT NOT LIKE YOU. YOU'RE LIKE A SHIT. YOU'RE FAT, YOU'RE UGLY AND LET'S FACE THE FACT, NOBODY WANT YOU SO LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR. WE'RE OVER. O-V-E-R. DONT YOU EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN. GET OUT OF MY LIFE. FUCK OFF OK"
Wow that hurt a lot. Our long friendship meant nothing to him. I dont even want his popularity. How could he leave me for Ashleigh?

Well, luke told me to leave him alone so that's what I'm going to do now. I'm now at the airport. Yeah I told my mum an dad I want to loe with my aunt in Los Angelos. I'm already missing Luke and my 3 other best friends-ashton, calum & michael. I need to move on. I'm going to start a new life in LA. Maybe get a job too? Well its easy for me to find a job since my aunt runs the model company and my uncle is the manager of famous stars. So.. yeah.
