Running through daisies

Attempt #1

"Today is the day that, me, Raina Cecelia Michaels is going to be skipping school.. well atleast try to skip school" Raina said looking at herself through the mirror in her homes upstairs bathroom. "C'mon we gotta go or we're all gonna be late for school!" said London, Rainas 8yr old sister. Then all of a sudden you hear Londons twin sister Paris running up the stairs yelling "GET OUT!! I need to go PEEEEE!!!!" and when she starts yelling, she doesnt stop until she gets what she wants. Which sucks for the WHOLE FAMILY esspecially when we go to pretty much any public place. 

But anyways Raina quicky unlocks the door and whips it open just realizing that she was in the bathroom for 45 mins! "CRAP!! Im gonna be late for school! Mom is the car started, we NEED TO GO!!" Raina yelled while running down the stairs while also trying to get her sweatshirt on, put all of her homework from the night before into her backpack, and trying to NOT get attacked by the 2 pitbulls, 3 golden labradors, and 1 super fat cat, Nancy the tries to act like a dog. "Yes the car is ready but, you havent eaten breakfast yet" said Rainas mother "I can just get somehing at school, okay? We just have to go!!" Raina yelled instantly regreting yelling at her mother. Rainas mother just replyed with "Just go get your shoes on and I'll go get the girls, okay?" "Yes.." Raina said with a sad look on her face when in her mind she was SO FREAKING HAPPY!! Raina just grabbed her old ripped up Converse's and ran out the door.

                                                         ~35 minutes later~

Once they got to Rainas school finally after dropping  her little sisters off at school and dropping her dog, Minnie off at the vet, she quick grabbed her backpack and sprinted out of her mothers mini van and ran to her schools enterance and opened the doors and waited for her mother to leave. Raina waved goodbye to her mother and her mom left smilling at her daughter. "Finally, now I just have to hope no one sees me leaving the school.." Raina whispered to herself while tiptoeing towards the school garden at the back of the school where she could just climb the fence and walk over to the community park and hang out there until school got out then she could just text her friends and tell them to meet her there. Hopefully her mother didnt forget that drama club ended already.

 "Whatever.." Raina thought as she finally got to the fence but then.. she smelled something. Then she heard somebody laughing and Raina then noticed that it was the schools biggest "badgirl", Whitney Reynolds, smoking, as usual on school grounds and sweet name for a MEAN girl, right? Well she used to be the nicest person EVER. She was always helping the local church out with bake sales and clothing drives since her father was the churches Preist and her mother was the churches choir directer and she also taught at the childrens Sunday school. But everything went bad when Whitney got called down to the Main office at school and there were like a MILLION rumors on what actually happened but, apperantly it was some pretty heavy stuff. 

Because once she got back to school 3 weeks later she started wearing lots of black eyeliner, baggy t-shirts, ripped jeans, tennishoes, and dark colored hoodies. I guess she just didnt want the attention but, it just got her even more attention. People were always asking questions and just bothering her. Raina honestly felt kinda bad for her. Until Whitney got fed up with it all so she started to make this "badgirl" reputation for herself by getting into fights, breaking all of the schools rules, skipping church to go smoke and hang out with older guys, and she also cut and dyed her hair a deep plum color just because her dad said she couldnt. 

Then all of a sudden Raina felt something like smoke being blown on her face and Raina snapped out of it. "Hey! Wtf?!" Raina yelled not noticing that she just yelled at Whitney Reynolds. Whitney just started laughing "What are you laughing at?" Raina said in a confused matter "You!" Whitney said, trying to catch her breath from laughing so hard "You think your sooo cool, dont ya?" "Huh?" Said Raina still very very confused at why the schools biggest "badgirl" just laughed at her. Whitney finally started to speak "Oh, your confused I see" "Well its just that, your Raina Michaels, the "goodgirl" of the school and it looks like your trying to skip school and well... shouldnt you be in your classes giving teachers apples and raising your hand for every single question, even if it has nothing to do with you.." Raina stood there right in front of Whitney, shocked. "And let me guess.. you are sick and tired of being called names and being teased just because your not a total idiot like half the kids that call you these names.. so you thought that you would skip school and act all cool and badass just because you think that that would stop kids from picking on you" "Am I right or what?" Whitney said with a big, giant grin on her face. 

Raina looked down at the ground emmbarrased because she knew that Whitney was right, she just had to much dignity. "Look kid, since im not a COMPLETE jerk, i'll help you" said Whitney "What?" Raina said quietly with her head still facing the ground. "I'll help you ditch school, duh" Whitney said "Okay.. whats the catch?" Raina said looking straight at Whitney even though Whitney was at LEAST a foot taller than her. "Nothing.." Whitney said like she thought Raina was stupid or something, Raina look into Whitneys eyes and said in the most powerful and slightly sarcastic tone she could "Really Whitney... really? Im not as dumb and naive as you probably think I am, so tell me! whats the catch?" Raina felt like she was actually like a freaking boss! "Okay, okay, And I promise i will tell you later but we need to go now before we get caught!" Whitney said in a low-key frantic matter. She reached her hand out to Raina "Fine! But I need to be back at the school by 5:15pm, got it?" Said Raina "FINE! But we NEED to go now!" Whitney said with her hand still out reaching Raina. "I really hope I dont die.." Raina thought as she took Whitneys hand, quick grabbed her backpack off the ground, and they started to run...
