The old man sat lazily in his wicker chair, looking over some torn documents. The candlelight softly illuminated his face with an orange glow, making his wrinkled face stand out. His silver hair rested softly on his shoulders and his gray eyes were dull even in the light.
"Have you seen it?" He asked. There was a dark chuckle from behind him. "Of course I have." The old man turned his head slightly to the side to meet the gaze of another. His blonde hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail and his green eyes had a mischievous glare in them. His skin was pale, almost sickly looking as he leaned up against the stone wall. "It's a shame, isn't it?" The old man asked. "What is? Personally I found the bloodshed amusing.." The younger man said, a smirk plastered on his face. "It's driving everyone mad." The old man said, standing from the wicker chair and slowly limping over to the large glass window that overlooked the village. He stood beside the man who decided to speak again.
"Who cares if a few people go mad over this." He said. "They'll end up killing each other!" The old man spat at the younger one. He chuckled and looked out the same window as the old man, staring up at the star-filled sky. "And?" He asked. The old man looked down at the stone floor, his arms crossed. "You really don't care about this village..." He said. "Oh of course I do.. Just not about the ignorant people who live here.." The younger male said. "...It's not that I can blame you..." The old man sighed to himself. "Miles," the young man looked alarmed as the old man said his name. "Miles was this all really necessary?"
"Of course, Tehran, after all... It was at the expense of our kingdom."
