Duo: Lucario X reader.

Prologue: Finding Riolu.

You walked in the field.

No Pokemon live here, I should be fine.

You heard crying. You followed the crying and saw a Riolu, injured.
It got roughed up, badly.

Poor thing.

You walked slowly, trying not to scare it.
It flinched and started to cry more.

You rummaged your bag and found a Oran berry.
I'm sure Mum and Dad's  Umbreon and Leafeon won't mind a new family member.

I gently pushed the Oran berry towards Riolu.
"You'll feel better if you eat this berry. It's safe." You say softly and smiled.

Cautiously, the Riolu picked up and ate the berry.
It made happy cries as it ate.

As it ate, I took out a first aid kit.
I took out some small bandages and a dressing.

"Okay this might hurt a little, but you don't want your wound to get infected." I said and gently rubbed the medical dressing into the wound.

Riolu winced.
I smiled sympathetically.

Reaching for the bandages, I gently wrapped them around the leg wound.

Riolu tried to walk but it limped and could barely walk.

It's struggle broke your heart.

"Don't you have a pack or family little one?" You ask softly.

Riolu shook his head.
I gasped.
A alarm from my watch beeped.
"Oops. Got to run. I have to go back home before everyone starts worrying." I said.
You picked up your first aid kit and Riolu grabbed you arm.

"Huh? You are okay with me taking you with me?" I asked.
Riolu hugged my arm and cried happily.

I gently picked him up and held him in my arms.

"Sweet little Ri-Ri." I chuckled.
Riolu blushed.

"Hmm... What should I call you?
How about Lucky? But I still might call you Ri-Ri." I said and Riolu's blush deepened.

"You're such a cutie." I giggled and kissed his forehead.

Riolu was red as a tomato.

I noticed, and got out a cold water bottle and put it on his forehead gently.

"I guess I have somehow charmed you. Sorry about that!" I giggled again.

-At home-

"I'm back!" I said cheerfully and Umbreon and Leafeon ran towards me.

"Hello you two." I said happily.

"Y/n! Hello!" My mother said.

"Hi, Mum." I said cheerfully.
My dad was on the sofa and Umbreon hopped on the sofa.

Leafeon rubbed herself on me.
I gently petted her, and sat on the sofa.

Umbreon and Leafeon curled up and started to fall asleep on the sofa.
"Awww." I cooed.
My dad looked at Riolu.
"Where did you find him?" He asked.
"In the field. He was hurt and abandoned.  When I bandaged his leg, he wanted to come with me." I answered, petting Riolu.

"I already see a bond." Dad said with a chuckle.

Riolu snuggled closer to me, and fell asleep.

"Good night, sweet little Ri-Ri." I cooed and put a small cushion and blanket on him as I put him on the sofa.

Little known to you, a certain legendary Pokémon watched and smiled.

She hasn't changed.  I can't wait to see y/n's and Riolu's bond grow.  It may even surpass mega evolution.
