"Yes, yes, ok." I flitted my hand out repeatedly for a moment before standing up.
Out the corner of my eye I could see Sascha grabbing his blazer jacket and putting it on, but at all times his eyes on me in a discreet manner. "Right then you kids, have fun will you." He smirked. "But don't be out too late, we all know this business venture isn't about going out."
I raised my eyebrows at Sascha as he spoke those words. "Yes dad, but for your information, I am far more professional than that." He chuckled at my words, shaking his head in a sense of amusement. "I'll see you all together again very soon then, to start details with this all."
"Yes, yes, see you very soon." Paying a little too much empathy onto the word 'very', I then leant in towards him and kissed both of his cheeks goodbye. Not making it obvious there's something going on between us, just simply being friendly. And once Sascha has returned the kissed to both of my cheeks I watched as he bid goodbye to the other three, all before he walked out of the building. Leaving it as just Marco, Marcel and Robin after a while then.
"You sure you really want to do this Sofie?" Robin asked, trying to sound sympathetic. "Well I mean, if you want to back out now because you're scared of losing, we'll understand that."
"Oh of course." Marcel added, crossing his arms against his chest. "If you think that we will judge you for backing out, you're totally wrong. If anything, we really would respect you."
"Oh please." I rolled my eyes in a mix of disbelief and amusement. "The only one's which I think should be backing out, is you three." Pointing at them as I spoke, I didn't hesitate at that point other than to turn on my heels. Heading towards the door leading to the casino.
I didn't look back as I walked though, simply leaving the guys behind me to their imagination from my words. And judging from the flat out expressions they had given me from just how confident I was, it became clear to me that they didn't know what to think. But soon, I heard some sort of indication from them behind me. "Hey, hey, ok, Sofie, slow down for us three."
It was Marco. As I turned around on my heels again, I found them fast walking towards me.
My arms crossed and eyebrows raised, with a smirk across my painted lips, I waited for one of them to speak as I suspected they would. "Was that your plan, huh?" Marcel smirked. "Is your idea on this to storm in front, lose us, and then lie telling us you won to win the bet?"
"You guys really do underestimate me, do you know that?" I smirked.
But the three of them cocked their heads to the side, in confusion. "How so?" Robin asked.
"Well I'm not going to tell you am I?" I laughed sarcastically, walking ahead with the three of them following suit behind me. "I'll show you." Shrugging my shoulder as I walked inside the door to reveal the bright lights of the casino. "So tell me boys, what shall I win at first then?"
*********
"Sofie how the hell did you do that?" I heard Marcel comment in complete shock due to the fact of how I had won each and every game I played in the casino, a smirk of proudness right the way across my lips as we headed out of the building. "I mean seriously!" He screeched in a rather girly tone. "I mean I know you said you were good but I didn't actually believe you."
Giggling in amusement as we stood outside the casino and in the brisk air, I tapped my nose, with that same smirk playing upon my lips. "Let's just say that when you're in my business, you do tend to learn how to count." All three of the guys stood looking at me, astonished.
"Wow...wow..." Robin repeated, eyes wide and somewhat speechless. "You cheated?!"
"Hey!" I hissed between gritted teeth, giving him a slap to the chest. "Keep your voice down, ok? Do you realise how much trouble I...no...we could be in if the wrong person hears that?" But no surprise the three guys were oblivious to that, as they merely shrugged while looking at each other. "Well let me spell it out for you, it could lead to the three of us in prison, ok?"
