I was waiting outside the hospital room as Doctor Freeman and a couple of nurses delivered my child from my beautiful girlfriend. As I stood there and tried to block out the screams by thinking about the last 9 months my thoughts somehow wandered to Al.
We had only heard from him once after we sent the letter and that was just a message that t to us through a guy from France. The guy knocked on our door and told us that Al says that he will not be returning without a strong reason and that he is extremely angry at the whole affair.
suddenly Doctor Freeman came out of the small room and nodded at me. He didn't say a word so i guess he was still mad at me for impregnating her. I watched him walk away down the hall then i slowly entered the dingy room and saw my beautiful girlfriend on the bed with our small child in her fragile arms.
