Part 8 : Giving a chance...

"We don't even talk Vidushi" "Behave karna toh dur ki baat hai" "We live under same roof" "We share the same room...but we behave like strangers" "He is busy in his life and same for me" Sanyukta said

"But...you guys are married what about that?" Vidushi said

"Just for name sake" "I have accepted it Vidushi...the way it is" Sanyukta said

"Don't you think you guys should put some efforts in your relationship" Vidushi said

"Vidushi...I have lots of work to do..." "Catch you later...going to library" "Then I have to go to meet Papa" Sanyukta clearly ignored the topic.

Randhir was in deep thoughts completely  gnoring his work.

His chain of thoughts was broken with a call.

It was from his best buddy Parth.

Parth is like brother to Randhir.

"Dude...so howz work going?" Said Parth

"Good yaar...how're you doing?" Randhir said

"Bas...firstclass" Parth replied

"Hmmm...good" Randhir replied

"Are you okay Randhir" "And Sanyukta...how is she?" "Last when we talked you said she is very disturbed" Parth asked

"Hmmm she was but...now is she is better" "Started going college" "Normal hai aab" Randhir replied

"Thank god..." "I hope you both...I mean...." "Matlab..." Parth fumbled.

"Don't you think Randhir...you should work on this relationship" "Matlab....are you guys gonna live like this forever" "She is human being too....she has expectations too...bas kabhi bolegi nahi woh" "She needs love and care ..." Parth said

"Parth...I don't know" "I just...I don't know yaar main kya karu" "This marriage...Sanyukta..." "everything happened so quickly that...I don't know. I am clueless" "I don't know parth...I just know one thing...that she deserves happiness..." "now...it doesn't matter if that happiness comes from me...or anything else...but...she deserves it" Randhir stopped in between.

"Give a chance Randhir..." "You never know...she might be waiting for you" "You can be her source of happiness..." "And you will live life in peace" "This restlessness in you...will go away"

"Someone has to take a step forward" "Then take an intiative..." "She will feel good if you do it" "And girls are shy in all this...knowing Sanyukta...I can tell you this" Parth said

"Thanks..." Randhir smiled

"Anytime bro...take care" Parth said and disconnected the call.

Randhir was lost in thoughts again.

His mind disagreed but his heart agreed with Parth's words.

But still he had a fear in his heart...what if he gives chance to their relationship and she doesn't even recognized it.

He feared...cause he knows he is the responsible for her pain and sorrow...what if she comes to know about truth.

At night.

Randhir came to the room and found Sanyukta busy in making notes.

He looked at her intently.

She was so focused that she didn't even noticed his presence.

"How was your day?" Randhir asked

"Haan?" Sanyukta looked up and found Randhir standing next to her chair.

"I said...how was your day?" Randhir asked again

"Good..." She replied half confusingly.

"Good to hear...so making notes?" He asked

"Hmmm Yeah...missed so much in last few days...so covering it up" Sanyukta replied

"Okay...carry on" "I'll go and change" Randhir said

She looked at his back.

"What happened to him suddenly?"  She thought.

They had dinner and Sanyukta came back to room.

She again started writing notes.

"Why don't you do one thing?" "Take a photo copy of notes...no need of writing them" "Simple" Randhir suggested her

"Yeah..but...then I will not be able to read them" "Aabhi likhte likhte...I will read it too...toh padhai bhi hojayegi" She said

"Hmm...true..." "How much time it will take?" He asked

"Umm...it will take time..." "I will go out if you want to sleep..." Sanyukta stood up grabbing her books.

"No...not that" "I mean to say...do you need any help in completing notes" He said

She looked at him in pure confusion.

"No...I will manage..." She replied

"It will not spoil your habits Sanyukta.." "It will help you to complete your notes fast" "Varna tumhe puri raat jagna padega..." He showed his eagerness to help her.

She stare at him.

This is something new she is discovering in him.

"Okay..." She nodded.

He sat next to her.

He helped her.

They finished work in time.

Randhir yawned loudly grabbing Sanyukta's attention.

He closed his opened mouth the next moment.

They looked at each other and burst in laughter.

Like seriously?

They are laughing together.

Randhir heard her melodious giggles.

He was lost in her.

Her tinkling eyes.

Those cheeks which turned red due to laughing.

Her wide smile...

Randhir was so lost in her that he even forgot to blink.

She noticed his gaze on her and stopped laughing immediately.

"Ummm...its done" "Thanks Randhir..." She said smiling widely

"Hmm..." He said

He felt good. He felt good seeing her smiling and happy. Till now he was only responsible for her pain but today its opposite. He became reason of her happiness.

"Parth was right. I think...this relationship deserves a chance" Randhir thought while his eyes were stick at her

"But...what about her?" "She wants to give a chance?" His mind was soon occupied with questions.
