Crystal just laughed to herself once again not minding what her instructor is nagging about. She thought that it was just few minutes ago when she texted her about not being frustrated and then there she goes again acting her stupid attitude.

"All of you! Pass your papers finished or not finish. And then you are dismissed" she said. "Except for you, Smiths! We need to talk."

Crystal just smirked and nodded as she watched her classmates go out of their room. She remained seated in the very front seat as she stares at her very mad instructor.

"Now what!?" Maia yelled as she crossed her arms staring at her student.

"You're making it easy for me" Crystal said as she roamed her eyes on the room indicating that they were the only one left.

"Well, you are making it easy for me too, because I'm not going to compute your grades anymore. I will give you a 5. That is for cheating and for smoking in my class"

"But I wasn't cheating"

"And you expect me to believe that!? With your earphones on while we are having a quiz? Maybe you got a call from a friend from another class, asking him to solve the math problems for you"

"Look Miss Padilla, I don't think you should be too much affected by whatever it is frustrating you." she said as her instructor took her seat and started checking the papers and her phone as well if there is another message from the mysterious student.

"You may go now. I just asked you to stay to inform you that I will give you a 5" Maia said not looking at Crystal.

"I mean, I think it's very unprofessional. The class noticed that you weren't acting like what you were last Friday. You seem to be very frustrated, you should release that." she said emphasizing the word 'release' for the nth time. "You are our instructor. So even if you are frustrated, you should remain calm and teach us like you're supposed to do and not yell at us or embarrass us like what you were doing. Plus you were also using your phone, right?" she said playfully.

"I have no time for that, Smiths. You may go now. And about my phone, it's a different thing! I just read a message and it's about work. It's unlike what you did that you used it for cheating." she said once again.

"Work" Crystal said and nodded. "And again, I didn't use it for cheating" she explained but Maia just ignored her and continued on checking her students' papers. "Do you want me to help you out? To release that frustration you are feeling?" Crystal suddenly asked after a few minutes of silence. Maia didn't know why but when she heard those words, it instantly set herself in fire. She stopped checking and looked at her student.

"How? What do you mean?"

"I don't know. Maybe you should tell me first what is bothering you." Crystal said not breaking the eye contact.

"You know what, just go" Maia said and focused her eyes again on the papers she was checking. "You are just saying that because you don't want to repeat the subject again. But I'm sorry because I've already decided. And even if you did not cheat, using your phone while at class is still prohibited. And don't turn it back to me that I am also using my phone! It's a different thing!"

"I'm sorry. I promise I won't do it again" Crystal said, sounding a bit convincing. Maia just smiled at her and frowned.

"Crystal, I am a college instructor, not an elementary. I won't buy that 'sorry' of yours specially that 'I will not' thing, got it?" she said and stood up and walked towards Crystal. "I have made my decision; you are going to repeat this subject next semester."

Crystal on the other hand stood up as well, got the whiteboard marker from her instructor's desk and stood in the platform.

"I'm just saying sorry and promise not to do it again. I didn't ask for you to give me a passing grade" she said as she started to write on the board.
