Déjà vu

                  

It was a rainy autumn day.As soon as the rain stropped ,the wind started to blow gently the falling dead leaves.There was a strange noise in the air.The cracked metal shutters softly rattle as the ravens were having their meal.At the end of the street there was a girl.She was passing up and down confused and outraged because she couldn't remember anything about how she got there.

When the twilight started to steal away the colors of the day until the sky looked like an old black and white movie , she decided to go and find a shelter but suddenly a strange boy her age came out of nowhere and gave her ,without any introduction ,an invitation at the town's carnival.She looked at it carefully and accepted because she didn't know where else to go ,so the two teens left the dark street and entered the spooky forest while the twilight was fully embracing the infinite sky.

After a couple of minutes walking through the forest's wooden guardians ,the boy told her his mother was a fortune teller who tells the future at the carnival and then he introduced himself as Davon.Brown curls were pulled back to reveal his bony expressive face ,freckles were spread seductively across his cheeks and his eyes were sparkling with a cooper shade.Katherine fell for him instantly.After another ten minutes of walking she saw flashing lights and various tents.They walked up to the black iron gates on which it was a huge white sign with crimson blood colored letters saying : "Free to stay awhile".A few seconds after she read that ,Davon took her to the biggest tent where his mother was drinking her tea.First they talked then Malise Youngblood ,Davon's mom ,also offered Kath a cup of tea to warm her up.After the free future reading ,Davon called Kath a taxi , because she hadn't found her phone.When she got home ,she took a long bath and then she quickly fell into a deep sleep.That thing was the perfect place where she could detached ,especially for someone like Kath whose hobby was dreaming ,because only that way she could use her imagination without being judged.But she didn't know one thing – Malise followed her ,broke into her house .put her on a spell and started to feed on her imagination.She was killing Katherine slowly while she was captive in her own fantastic dream.The witch was doing that because that was the only way she could get all the power she needed to stay young and magical forever.

In her dream ,Kath was painting and playing with Guy and Flora who were trollwins (troll twins) .There where also other creatures : Blu ,the imaginary liquid friend who could transform in any object ,Ginger who was a little girl with no eyes because she could see through every animal or person's eyes and the pets: Luci-a diabolic fat cat and Wacki who was actually juat a wolf in sneakers .None of them judge her ability to create worlds using her creativity because for them she wasn't a weird person-she was their friend and they loved her very much.

In reality ,Katherine was dying ; Malise didn't stop-her long fingers were absorbing all the juice from the girl's brain .The witch was now started to turn into a real monster.

In her imaginary world ,Kath was starting to feel very tired.It was actually the first time she was feeling something like that .All the dream was turning into a real nightmare and her friends didn't know what to do-they were dying too!!!

Davon opened the door and said :"ENOUGH OF THIS". That moment the witch disconnected and somehow Katherine's spirit rose from her unconcious body.Plenty of time to see Davon and the angry witch ,then it disappeared .The witch created the connection with the sleeping dying girl again .

As soon as she received the outside sign ,Katherine knew what was happening so she managed herself to find a way to end the deadly dream before the mad witch eat her all.They had to find the portal to the present...That was real madness because no one ever ended a dream like that.For all she knew the portal was like a tornado of energy ,only bigger.She got only one chance otherwise she might be lost between the worlds .Ginger used her ability to locate the portal then Blu transformed himself into a plane which took them exactly were they wanted to get .Without any other thoughts she took all of her childhood imaginary family and jumped into the portal.

Davon was sitting next to her bed ,trying to find a way to kill that thing who wasn't his mom .She was long gone and he was living under the same roof with an ancient demon who possessed his mother's body .He whispered her name full of hope :"Kath?!!!...You need to wake up...please don't leave..." then he touched her gently and smiled .She woke up instantly as he was falling asleep .Kath was more powerful-she grabbed the knife under her pillow and stabbed the demon right into his cold heart saying an old incantation .The monster vanished in the thin air leaving a strong smell of sulfur .That was the end ...Kath started to cry-her friend was dead-he died saving her .The next day she burnt his body ,setting him free then she went for a walk .Her garden was full of gravestones covered in some kind of slime. She walked over to her mother's tombstone and collapsed from loss of power .Kath started to dream again...

Her usual friends were happy to see she was fine because they had a surprise for her:Davon hadn't died-he was transferred into her dream with all her creatures .They could finally be together .She took a decision...she stabbed herself in her dream so she could live forever only where she felt loved-with family...
