EMMELINE SAYS GOODBYE TO TVD

Sadly, The CW's The Vampire Diaries has officially ended its contract with actress Emmeline Hollis. It hasn't begin confirmed if Hollis ended her contract or if the network cancelled it themselves. Emmeline released a statement this morning that said:
"The Vampire Diaries has helped me grow, learn and become who I am. But with growth, comes change. I have decided to leave the show for my own happiness and move on from the negativity and on to better things. Lots of love, Emmeline Hollis."
Based on her word choice it seems as if Emmeline ended her own contract, which brings up even more questions in this situation.
