Chapter 2- WOW
Once I read that postcard, I almost fell out of my seat. "Why would they want me?" I thought. I got off my chair and went to my room. I changed out of my Sweaty clothes, then put a tanktop , and a pair of shorts on. I grabbed my Ipod of the nightstand for the trip, and left. Since I lived on the other side of the island from where the Everyday Phoning Facility was, it would be a while for walking. I plugged my earphones in and turned on Skydoesminecraft's Intro song, and started on my way.
By the time it was over, I was already in the Snow forts. I whiped my forehead. "Almost there, Suprisingly..." I thought. To kill time, I played "Applause" by Lady Gaga. I was there right after the chorus had ended for the first time. I took out my earphones and slid them down into my back pocket. Looking up hurt my eyes, but I could make out the words printed on the building: Everyday Phoning Facility. Gulping, I waddled inside.
Beeps and boops surrounded me. The building was filled with overheated computers, spilled coffee, and ripped up papers. Two purple penguins walked by saying how that the building was cleaner than usual. There was a big water fall on the back wall of the room. In the center of that, was a telephone. All of a sudden, a red and white target appeared. Of course, like any other penguin would do, I threw a snowball at it. Ok, maybe not EVERY penguin would do that, but I did anyway. I was suprised to see that my idea had worked, opening up a small path way in the middle of the waterfall.
I was a liitle frightened at first, but i gathered up my courage and went inside. I walked into a gigantic room, with 3 big screens. The one on the right said Spy Drills, while the other said System Defender. But the biggest one of all said, of course, Elite Penguin Force. Penguins were gathered around a big meeting table, looking extremely serious. I looked to my left and saw that a Green penguin with red sunglasses and a red shirt was next to me.
"Hi! I'm Rookie." The penguin said. (Of course Snaxx [me] knew who rookie was, she was just shocked.) "Whats your name?" He asked. "Well, I um, My name is Snaxx, well Snaxxlover89." "Oh hello! I am apart of the Elite Penguin force, and so are you! I am also a mascot, and of course you know what that means.. You get a stamp!" He handed me a stamp. " Sorry I talk to much, they dont call me Rookie for nothing!" I giggled. "Anyways, we have called you here for a reason." He saw that I looked confused, so he told me to follow him. He made sure nobody was looking at us, and grabbed my flipper.
"Wait, wha-" I tried to say. "Shh" he said. "We cant let anyone see this." He dropped down into a hole while pulling me. "Sorry, I forgot." He said. After walking down a very long tunnel, we made it into a room what looked like a Spy room because of all the small computers with every room on club penguin displayed on them. "I've gotten her." Rookie said. Two penguins turned around swiftly and smiled. it was Jet pack guy,(JPG) and Gary! "Greetings Snaxx.." Gary said. "How do you know my name?" i said nervously.
" I was the one who sent you that postcard." "Wait- How did you know i got a postc-. Oh." " You are here for a reason, Snaxx." JPG said. "What for?" "We are going to make you the newest member of the EPF pro." "WOW......." I said in amazement.
