Excitastic news!( sort of)

I look through the window, thinking about the events that are about to happen as we pull up in front of the school. "What if I mess up?"..."or fall down the stairs or something?",I thought. As I was about to open the door to the school
I hear my name being yelled at the top of someone else's lungs....a familiar voice, I think. I turned around and spotted my best friend, Jordan. She runs towards me and says, " Hey Alexis!, guess who I heard is gonna be here this year?" Confused but yet intrigued I asked, "who?" "JOSH!" ,She screams. "Omg Jordan keep your voice down." I told her, as we walked into the gym. "Why do I have to keep my voice down?" She said.. "Because, Josh might hear you."
"and that's a bad thing be-caause?" She said , with her head tilted at a 90 degree angle. It's not a bad thing...it's just that he
doesn't know I like him ...or how long I've liked him so I would like to keep it that way. "Why though?, what if he likes you back?, you'll never know cause you didnt tell him." She said, as we sat on the wooden bleachers, waiting for our grade to be called to breakfast. Jordan? "Yeah?" I wish i could tell him but i can't....i just...can't. "Its ok Alexis, i wo-- ,

"ALEXIS!!!!!"

Excuse you? , you interupted a great conversation.
"Sorry, i just really need to talk to Alexis."

I have some excit-astic news!
"Oh no....no-no-no-no-no nooo you dont."

" yes obviously, but last time you said you had some "excit-astic" news we were all stuck doing laundry at the nursery home for a week."

Anyway, this time its not like THAT. The real news is that i heard Josh got a new Girlfriend!". Just as she said those five words i then realized ....my life was over. I've liked josh for a long time and in all that time he's always had a Girlfriend....maybe 4 in all. I know you guys are all wondering why i havent asked him out yet and the answer is because, Im a Chicken...there, i said it. Im a Big Chicken that is afraid to ask out a tall, handsome, sweet, funny, art loving guy.....i may have gotten alittle carried away with that...oh well, anyway lets get back to the story. Josh got a what?! " yep he got a new girlfriend and guess who it is?" Who? "Katlyn". Katlyn is Satan's daughter, well...not literally, more like...my aunt's daughter. Katlyn's been after me ever since 3rd grade when Cameron stole her juice box and she thought it was me. I Honestly believe that she blamed me just because my aunt married her dad ....which technically makes us cousins. I dont know why she doesn't like me. ..it's like she totally disclaims me. I dont mind being around her, i actually like her, and by i like her i mean, i wouldnt disclaim her like she does to me. The only reason she's going out with josh is probably 99.99% because she wants to....get under my skin...but its not gonna work.
" I, myself think that she is holding him against his own will! "...

Just then something glorious walked across the gym floors, JOSH!!! Oooohhh ma-gawd its him...what am i gonna do.
