An Abandon Bat In a Box?

Droplets of rain fall from the depressed sky. The sky hide behind the dark gloomy cloud, wearing it like a mask of different personality, a poker face. A young student walk down the dark alley, he has snow white hair with a mixture of red on his bangs. Wearing white tidy uniform and long black pant, he might look normal but there's one thing that's not normal about him. His eyes, the right eye is bright yellow and the left eye is bright blue. While it might be true that his father have blue eyes and his mother have bright yellow, this is close to rarely possible.
Why is he walking down the suspicious looking alley? Apparently, it is a closest shortcut to his home. He have been using it for as long as he can remember but today, something is different, will this difference change his lifestyle forever?

". . ." the young man stood still and look down at something that he's not used to see in his life going through this alley.
". . ." a young girl, about 5 maybe, look back at the young man while sitting silently in a cardboard box. Her beautiful red eyes observing into the young man eyes, almost like she's judging on every single things about him. She have long silky hair, as long as her petite body and all she's wearing is a simple white dress with pink flower patterns.
". . . I haven't seen you around here before, you lost? got separated from mom? dad? sister? brother?", the young man asked, he never introduce himself or at least tell his name, why? It just how he is.
". . ." the girl kept quiet, not a single word from her mouth, not a movement of muscles can be seen, the only things moving about her is her eyes. The young man didn't ask any other questions, one question is enough for him to ask. Truth, he's not much of a talker either.

Rain start pouring down harder than before, as it try to wash away their sadness. The young man open up his umbrella, he look down at the girl, who is soaked in tears of the sky.
After a few minutes of standing, but to him its about an hours, he start speaking.

"go home. . . its getting dark and you. . .are soaked, you will get sick if you stay here in the same spot", with that the man walk away, leaving the little girl to herself.

". . . you", the girl spoke her ever first word, time seem to go slow, droplets of rain echo in the alley. The girl start speaking again after a moment of pause ". . . are not here in the first place"

The young man stop and look back at the girl, shocked by the words that came out of her mouth. The girl look down into her cardboard box, she is expecting
a result like arguing back or ignoring her but. . . something happened, she never thought someone will actually accept what she had said to them. The young man, right now he have one of his knee down on the wet ground full of water puddle. He somehow move near beside her without her noticing, with a smile he look at her. He hold the umbrella above the girl.

"Soul Blazer, that's my name", Soul said with a bright smile, for an instant it seem like the whole alley have been light up with warmth radiating light, she never thought she will see it, no,  feel it once again. With a smile she reply,

"Scarlet, its nice to meet you"

With that a new atmosphere were born, with a good view of those two, the sky once again came out of their hiding spot, leaving the gloom cloud away. The sky has now, live happily in the warmth light of the sun.

*NOTE* this is my first time writing story in public and also I'm not that good at english, so please forgive me for any mistakes i made. This IS a comedy, it just haven't begin yet, it will begin on the next chapter, this kind of dramatic page will appear only in certain circumstances but most of them will be comedy.
