I sat in the middle of my bed, staring at my TV that hung from my wall. I had just been awoken by some sort of nightmare from my past. My dad had abused my mom. Like always in my 'nightmares'. I would try to help. Like always in my 'nightmares', and he or I would always end up hurt. Like always in my 'nightmares'.
I was broken out of my thoughts by my school iPad alarm going off, signaling it was time for me to wake up. Since I was already awake and I had took my shower last night, I just got dressed. I put on my black sweat pants. Along with my white t-shirt and my brown uggs.
I put a clip in my hair just so it would look a little different from usual. I walked over to the bathroom in my room and brushed my teeth. After I brushed my teeth I checked the time on my iPad. The time read '7:05'. Oh shit. I leave in two minutes. I walked over to my body mirror taking one last look.
A little satisfied with it, I took my phone and iPad off the charger. I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. When I got downstairs, I was greeted by my Nana rose. "Hi Nana rose." I greeted my grandmother while grabbing my keys. "Hello sweetheart, how did you sleep?" She asked. "Good." I lied. "That's good, have a good day." She said while kissing my cheek. "You too thank you, bye Nana." I said walking out the house.
I got in my black on black Cadillac 2016 and turned on the radio. I danced in my seat as 'lock jaw ' by 'Kodack Black and French Montana' came on. I figured that since I didn't eat breakfast I would stop at the gas station and get some snacks.
I pulled up to the gas station and turned off the car. I got out and locked the doors and made my way inside. When I got inside I made my way to the chips isle. I got takis,hot cheetos,hot fries,hot funions etc.
I left that isle and went to the fridges. I got a blue Gatorade, fruit punch brisk and some apple juice.
Next I went to the sweet's isle and got grandma cookies, beef jerky, jolly ranchers and suckers. I went to the check out line and paid for my stuff.
I got in my car and put on my seatbelt. Before I drove off I put my stuff in my backpack. I turned on the music and sped down the street to my school.
When I got there I parked my car and grabbed my stuff. I got out and locked my car. I headed to the front door of my school. When I walked inside I walked straight to my second period class which was study hall. I opened the door and was greeted with stares from my fellow classmates.
I don't like being stared at and usually when I do get stared at I pop off, but I decided I'll let them get a pass. I walked all the way to the back of the room and sat down. I took out my hot fries and fruit punch brisk.
I opened my chips and began eating them. I was about to open my drink when this girl named Justine tapped me. "Yo Ari, let me get some chips." She said cupping her hands. I looked at her like she had seven heads. "What?" She asked. I started laughing uncontrollably. It was just so funny to me how she thought she wasn't gonna talk to me for three whole years then ask for my shit.
Like girl u better move around. When I regained my breath from laughing so hard I looked at her and said. "Ha......nope." She looked like she was about to bust my lip but all she did was mumble something up under her breath.
"Must not be worth saying if you gotta say it under you're breath." I said while taking a sip from my drink. "Whatever." She said. I just shrugged my shoulders and kept eating my chips.
