Okay so this is a oneshot I came up with while I was in class and I wanted to try something new. So there are only two main characters the only description you get of them is that one is a ruler and the other has black eyes. You may choose the character you want to work with this. I never gave them names, they're just all 'you' and 'I'. So I hope you enjoy this story I came up with.

I am only a mere kid who rules over a small kingdom. I am only a mere ruler ruler to the people, who is the descendant of a dead king and queens. I am the only way of living to the people. But I don't wish for this pressure, I have never asked for it. All I wanted was to be loved by my parents. But they never truly cared about how I felt, all they cared about was how I ruled over the people. They thought that was the best thing for me, to treat people like they are my puppets. They thought it was worthy to force everyone to believe me by paying me over the stupid lies I told them. And I couldn't disobey my religion, I couldn't disobey my family, cause if they did I would feel so much pain. All I want is for the people to live without me but I cannot leave you all behind. If only you all knew my pain.

But you. You were my best friend the only person who would listen to me. You were the only person who would listen to the shit I had to deal with. You would always cheer me up. You were everything precious to me. If only I could repay you. But you would never take the money I tried to give you, you would only take the kindness I showed.
Once when I was visiting the people of the kingdom I was walking up to everyone's houses, and it was hard. Cause many people would slam the door on me when I left. I felt bad for everyone, but most people didn't notice how much I cared about everyone. Nor did the rich cared about me, they hated me too. Everyone hated me but you.
When I got to your house, it was small and I was completely shocked when I found out that you and your parents lived in such a small house. I knocked on your door and you opened that door way quicker than I expected. Many people would open the door slowly then slam it quickly or talk to me through a small crack through the door. But you greeted me nicely and allowed me to come in. I took off mt hood revealing my messy hair but no crown stood upon my head. You smiled and I just stared at you a bit confused with all of this kindness, but you, you just kept that smile upon your face.
"Would you like something to drink or eat?" I shook my head as soon as you asked the question and you nodded back. You then pulled out a scratched wooden chair and brought it up to me for me to sit in. When I sat down you grabbed another chair and sat down across from me, but when you were sitting I noticed that you were still smiling to me like you were happy to have me around. It was all so new to me, because no one has ever showed me true respect or kindness, all I ever got was hate and anger, even from my own parents. Soon you noticed the surprise on my face and started a conversation with me so I could shaked away the thought.
"Why are you out here today?" You asked and what you were asking sounded meaningful to me. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out, probably from the shock I had with such kindness. You gave me a bit of a confused face but that soon disappeared and you got up quickly clapping your hands together smiling.
"How about I get my parents! I sure they would love to meet you!" I nodded and you quickly ran outside and I waited there smiling for once. Never had I thought I would ever smile again. Never had I thought I would actually get kindness from someone I never knew. Cause when have I ever truly been kind to others. If only I could show my respect freely.
But my thoughts drifted away as I heard you walk back inside with your parents following you. They both had small smiles upon their faces but your mother's disappeared as soon as she fully saw me. But your parents almost looked like grandparents. With your father having black hair that was quickly turning grey by the looks of it, and your mother had faded blonde hair. Their looks surprised me when I looked back at you and them, but as I looked I only saw one resemblance. You all had unusual black eyes and I stared at you in surprise. But soon I quickly got up and your parents bowed to me.
