The Gardener Who Fell for A Noble

The Ball

One moon lit night, I was attending the great Lord Phantomhive's ball. I was so worried about embarrassing myself in front of everyone including the young earl, Phantomhive. Once I stepped out of the carriage, I kept cautioning myself not to mess up. Stepping through your threshold, I saw Ciel Phantomhive in the center of the room. I examined my blue dress which also had purple flowers on it. I noticed my heart beating so fast I couldn't hear myself think. "Good evening, M'lady," said a voice behind me. They're voice sent chills down my spine. I turned around to see a black headed butler dressed in a black tailcoat.( and the fangirls scream). I curtsied for him and replied, " Oh, good evening um.."" My name is Sebastian Michaelis. But of course you can call me Sebastian. " (He's so tall. OK back to the story ) Lord Phantomhive eyed his butler from across the room. Ciel gestured his butler to to come towards him with a serious expression on his face. "Please excuse me, Lady Amelia," he said and disappeared. How did he know my name? I didn't even tell him my name, I thought. I stood in the center of ballroom.... Alone. Someone tapped me on the shoulder, and I made eye contact with the stranger. It was a boy around my age with strawberry blonde hair and emerald green eyes. He held out his hand to me and asked, "May I have this dance?" I nodded and took his hand. He swayed me left, right, back, and forth. " My name is Finnian by the way. Everyone calls me Finny, but the young master calls me the gardener of failure,"said the boy. I thought back to the roses, tulips , and petunias I saw outside the estate. " Wait,  the beds of flowers are ones you had planted?" I asked with surprise. He nodded, and he started blushed. "Well the young Earl, I would assume, doesn't know beautiful flora when he sees it," I said with a giggle. He grabbed my hand and smile with his amazing smile. The gardener walked me through the garden and presented a water fountain for me to see. It was so beautiful. It was illuminated with bright, white lights and the water was coming from an angel's hand. I walked over to it and looked at my reflection in the water then back at his handsome face. He held a blood red rose to me that didn't have any  flaws. I had noted that the rose's stem was already dethorned along with beautiful petals. He slid it through my long brown hair and set it behind my ear. I couldn't help but stare into his lovely green eyes. He leaned forward to kiss me, but I panicked and pulled away in fright. " What are you doing?" I questioned, still frightened by his action. "Shh," he continued, putting his finger against my lip,"it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise." I took his word for it, and I trusted the gardener. He kissed my lips and held me close to his body. The boy's arms were so strong, and he was careful not to squeeze me too tight. Suddenly, I fell and the heel on my slipper broke off. "Ouch!!" I screeched. "Are you alright?" He asked concerned. " I think I twisted my bloody ankle. It hurts so bad," I told him. "Come on, I'll carry you to a room where you can rest and relax." He picked me up with his strong arms and walked in the ballroom. He ran into something and looked up to see that it was Sebastian. " Finny, just what is it you are doing with Lady Amelia?" He asked, in a demanding tone. "She twisted her ankle,Sebastian. She's hurt." Sebastian began to listen to Finny explain how I got my twisted ankle and where we were going."F-Finny, it hurts really bad. It feels like fire," I whimpered. He put his forehead on mine and said,"Shh, it's alright. You'll be alright." Sebastian gave Finny the key to one of the furnished guest rooms. I don't understand why they were locked.When we got upstairs and into the room, he laid me on the bed, leveled my sore ankle on a soft, silk pillow, and covered my body up with a satin blanket.     " Finny, I can't stay here. Ciel will get mad at you and-"he cut me off with a warm and passionate kiss. I responded my kissing back and pulled away,leaving a string of saliva connecting out lips. " I will explain to Master Ciel about your stay but for now, you need to get some rest," he said. He pushed my bangs back and kissed my forehead as if I were a child being put to bed. He was about to leave the bedroom when I  grabbed his shirt sleeve and said," Wait, Finny. Please stay here with me. I get frightened when I'm alone." He turned back to look at me and nodded. Taking off his shoes and setting them down on the floor, he started to smile at me. I thought, what an amazingly sweet guy. I think I like him. He pulled back the comforter and laid close to me. Then, I heard something that sounded familiar. Finny was humming the song," My Immoral" by Evanescence. (Real song look it up! Back to the story) I began to sing along with his humming." I'm so tired of being here. Suppressed by all my childish fears. When you cried I wipe away all of your tears. When you scream I'd fight away all of your fears. And I held your hand through all of these years," I sang. He grabbed my hand, and we look into each other eyes. I began to sing again, " But you have all of me." He pecked me on the lips very softly. "You have a lovely voice, Amelia," he commented. "Just call me Amy," I replied with a wink of my eye. "I love you, my dear Amy. I will never leave you. I will care for you as though you are a delicate red rose." I groan in pain as I felt my sore ankle throb. "Allow me to draw you a warm bath. Perhaps that might help your ankle," he generally offered. "Finny, you don't have to do that. Plus, my ankle hurts so much I can't move."" That's alright.I can carry you. "My eyes widened at the thought of him carrying me to the bath. I thought that since I trusted him I could just relax and not worry about anything. I closed my eyes and sighed in relaxation. Little did I know, that a man jumped through the window, creeping up on me. Quickly, he covered my mouth and jumped back out the window. I couldn't scream because the strangers hand was covering my mouth. There's only one thing I can do, I concluded. I sank my teeth into his hand and he removed it. " Finny!!!! Help!!!!!" I screamed. Finny stuck his head out of the window to see the man with me in his arms. The expression on his face showed he was panicking. "Amy!!!" he called out. "You are going to pay for that you stupid girl!" The man barked.
