"Another day" My mom says with a loud sigh.

"Well on the bright side, at least it's Friday!" I exclaim, trying to brighten the mood for her.

"Yay." She starts, sarcastically "I can go 'enjoy' my weekend ; just to go back to work on Monday with a even bigger pile of paperwork because OF the weekend!!" I let out a soft laugh and tell her it'll be okay.  We exchange a hug and right after she exhales and tells me to hurry up, we don't want to be late for school and work.

I run up the stairs, through the hallway, and straight into the 4th (and last) room on the right - my room.  Friday I think to myself as I'm grabbing my dark grey joggers and plain white v-neck.  I bend over with a loud grunt as I put on my purple low-cut Adidas socks and white VANS.  Next is the bathroom, I hate going in the bathroom to look in the mirror. I know I need to but never want to.

I pull open the drawer on the lop left of the cabnit below the sink, I grab the hairbrush and begin to slowly brush through my thick, tangled, bright red hair while looking deep into my own light brown eyes.  That's when it happens.

I scream. I scream louder than I ever have before.  I hear my mom running up the stairs but I don't think there's anything she can do about it.  Im in the air. Im floating in the air yet don't know how to get down.

"What the -" my mom doesn't sound surprised. Just concerned. "Oh no. This is bad. This is very very bad." I don't know how it happens, I don't know why it happens, but that is the last thing I remember.

               *Current time*

My eyes open, I'm not tied up but I'm in the back of a van.  The doors aren't locked, I question if I should get out or stay in. I slowly open the door - the sun is so bright.  There is forest all around me.. But in the middle a big building.  I jump out of the van and start running. I don't know to where, I don't know if I should run to the building. Yet that's where I end up going.  As I'm almost to the front door of the building I see it fly open.  A woman with a navy blue suit and tan, high heels. Her hair is blonde and in a bun on the back of her head.  Her face looks fake, not plastic surgery fake but robot fake.

"Morning."  She says with a smile plastered onto her face.

"Where am I?" I ask, getting straight to the point.

"Come on in so I can explain."  She extends a hand away from me, showing me the way inside. I peek in ; seeing nothing but darkness.

"Why is it so dark in there?"

"Everyone is still asleep. It's only 5am."

"No its not, its so bright out here."

She sighs, "please Jessica. Come in and I will show you around and explain this whole mess to you. You're special.  You found that out yesterday correct? You were floating and screaming?"

I ignore all her questions.  Worried and want to answer, but choose it's wiser to just ask her the questions. "How do you know my name?"

"Please." She sounds desperate, concerned, and genuinely kind.  I nod in understandment as she leads the way inside.  I can't see anything except her blonde hair which I trust enough to just follow.  We walk for almost 10 minutes before she stops.

"Okay, here's my office." I hear the jingle of keys as she unlocks and opens the door.  The whole room is white. White walls, white desk, white computer, white floors.  I feel my eyes start to close at the brightness of the room, after a few seconds my eyes begin to adjust.

"Have a seat" she says, full-hand pointing at a big white chair in front of her desk.  "My name is Tammy."  I take a seat and wait for her as she sits down with an exaggerated huff, beginning to log into her computer.

"So Jessica, would it be alright if I ask some questions to start with?"  Every piece of me wants to say no.  Wants to tell her to tell me what is going on and why I'm here.  My brain switches and I say yes but don't mean it.

"Okay good.  So to start with, your name is Jessica Regina Roberts correct?" No, my name is Jessica Quince Weber but once again my brain won't let me do the answering and I say yes.

I try to change my answer, I feel my lips moving but hear nothing come out. She doesn't look surprised or concerned. As if she already knew this was gonna happen.  I feel my eyes start to water and soon feel a tear come out of my right eye, down my cheek, around my nose,  and down onto my shirt.  "What is going on?" I ask, the only thing I can say that my mind will allow me to.

She ignores my question and starts asking her own. "17?" No,16.

    "Yes."

"Wow this is going perfect." "weight 120?" More like 180.

    "Yes ma'am."

This continues for a while, I'm answering questions wrong and she knows it. I am confused... But soon I'm beginning to believe everything I answered.  This feels like home and I don't know why. A part of me knows this is all fake but most of me believes its real.

"Okay Jessica," she says as she stands- slowly bending her back about an inch until it pops. "Let's go show you your new room!"

I nod slowly, then a little faster as if I understand what is going on and am okay with it.  Since we've been in her office the lights have come on, and all around me are teenagers around my age.  Girls and boys between probably 10 and 18.  Once again everything is white.  Everything is white until I start seeing bedrooms.  Zebra prints, lions, unicorns, rainbows,  and so much more.  I can't stop looking, each room I pass is different therefore each room I pass I stop, making the Tammy stop, peek my head into the room for 10 seconds until she grunts and says "Jessica!!!!" In a singing, annoyed voice.  In which I stop looking and begin walking once again.

We eventually hit my room.  The door is tall and white, bolted into the wall.

Tammy stops dead in her tracks, almost falling backwards as if she forgets its my room.  It's the second to last on the left side of the hallway.  I hear the keys jingling again ; almost sounding like Christmas as she unlocks my bedroom door.  She moves to the side to let me open it.  I slowly take one big step forward and begin to push the door ever so slightly.  I see baby pink walls, the same color as at my old house. The one this place is starting to feel like.  I don't hesitate again. I push the heavy white door with all my might causing it to sling open, crashing against the wall.  Just as I thought. I think to myself looking around the room.  It's a exact replica of my room back home.  Light brown hardwood floors, a queen size bed with 5 pillows, only one of them being a throw pillow.  Pink and white zigzag sheets and comforter.  Even the teddy bear my dad gave me before passing away a few years back.  I run to the bed, jumping on it and begin crying my eyes out.  I can't and don't want to stop.  I grab the picture of my mom on the nightstand table.  This can't actually be real.  It's probably just a dream. A nightmare even.
