How Can My Day Get Any Worse?

(Y/N)'s Pov:

Today is just the best day of my life!

Do you hear the sarcasm?

I bet you do. Probably from a mile away.

First of all my parents "suprised" (what they called it) me at like 6 O'clock in the morning and next thing you know, I'm on a plane to freaking California.

California. C-A-L-I-F-O-R-N-I-A.

Turns out they've planned this "event of a lifetime" ever since I left to Love Love Paradise (LLP for short) for vacation this summer.

They want me to spread my wings and fly and what not, instead of being cooped up in my room.

What better way to do that then by putting me, their poor daughter, on a plane flying across the country.

How can this day get any better.

"Excuse the interruption but, we've just got word of a possible storm coming our way. Because of this, the flight has been expected to arrive a few hours later then expected. So sit tight and relax. If you have any further questions we'll be right with you shortly." the announcer had that cheerful kind of voice, even during a time like this.

Of course this had to happen.

Boom!

I turned to my right, startled by the lighting bolt that had struck the Earth.

How can my day get any worse?
