"Hey! Are you ready to go?" Herobrine yelled.
A figure appeared behind him. "Yep. Where to?"
Herobrine jumped in shock, spinning around. "Could you please give me some warning before you do that?" he asked, a hand going to his heart.
Entity smiled. "Where's the fun in that?"
"You know I'll get you back for that right?"
"I know. Where are we going?" Entity asked again.
"North East," Herobrine said. "You remember that mine we started a few weeks ago?"
"Yeah, of course."
"I sensed a mineshaft last time we were there, so I was thinking that we could clear it."
"Sounds fun. Let's go!" In a flash of red particles, Entity disappeared. Shaking his head slightly, Herobrine followed suit, disappearing in a flurry of purple particles.
They both reappeared in a square tunnel, lit with redstone torches at regular intervals.
"Which direction Mob Compass?" Entity asked teasingly.
Herobrine ignored the nickname and pointed to a wall of the cave. "Down here. About 30-40 blocks away."
Entity brought out a diamond pick. "Awesome."
The two mined downwards, creating a perfectly square tunnel as they went. They dropped down into the mineshaft and got to work. As they progressed through the shaft, they placed torches and disposed of the many mobs that got in their way.
"So, how's your castle going?" Herobrine asked while killing a zombie.
Entity stabbed a creeper before it could explode. "Pretty good. Just need to furnish the upper few levels. Are you thinking of redoing yours?"
"Yeah. Not all of it though, just the turrets and a few windows. And I want to add an underground training centre," Herobrine answered, disposing of a cave spider.
"That'll be awesome." Entity blocked a skeleton arrow with his black sword.
Herobrine teleported behind the skeleton, raising his sword. "I hope so," he said as he stabbed it.
Entity looked around the cave. "Looks like there's a few more up here." He started to walk towards them, then realised that his friend wasn't following. "Herobrine?" he asked, stopping and looking back. "Come on."
Herobrine was looking at the ground, not moving. His fists were tightly clenched, his eyes were shut and his arms were tensed.
"Uh, Herobrine."
When Herobrine spoke, it was through clenched teeth. "He's... trying... Run Entity."
Without asking, Entity ran away from his friend, teleporting after a few steps.
