I know this probably the worst crossover idea I've ever had, but the feels coming from my mind and heart was just too strong. Soooooo ENJOY THE FANFICTION.
-Abigail Lily-
Spencer Reid POV
JJ had just called everyone to the conference room and I had just sat down. Everyone was there except Hotch, so I was reading through the file.
The door opened and we all looked up to see Hotch walk in with a young women with curly blonde hair.
She glanced at everyone as Hotch introduced her, "Everyone, this is Agent Riley. She's a new addition to the team." She waved and I could see her lip tilt into a lopsided smile.
"Let's get started then." Hotch added as they both sat down.
"Alright," Garcia started and three women showed up on the screen behind her as well as were their bodies where found, "this is Amelia clark, Andrea Shelps, and Abby Nickle. All twenty-six, single, and worked as stripers at local clubs, there bodies found three days apart from each other."
"Well, he has a type. Pretty girls, long brown hair." Morgan stated reading the files.
Riley glanced up, but looked back down before anyone else could notice. She picked a sticky note and pen from her pocket and wrote something down. she stuck it down in the middle of the table, scooted out of her chair and left bringing the file with her.
"What was that?" Morgan asked watching her leave.
I reached across the table to read whatever she wrote as Hotch explained, "No one's heard her speak in eleven years, no one knows why."
"She?" I spoke aloud reading the note, to which Morgan snickered,
"You didn't know Agent Riley's a girl? 'Cmon Reid."
"Ah, n-no, I did notice. What I mean was she says the unsub's a girl." I replied passing the note to him, cutting my rambling short.
JJ opened flipped through her file, looking over the crime scenes, "It does seem likely... The cuts are clean, and she shows remorse by dumping the bodies with a blanket."
Morgan leaned back in his chair and glanced at the door as he said, "Alright, the unsub's female nothing to get upset about."
"She didn't look upset to me, actually looked excited." Kate said leaning her elbows on the table.
Before some one could make another comment Hotch stood up saying, "Wheels up in twenty."
We all got up and walked to grab our go-bags, but I couldn't help looking up to see her scribbling down notes and sticking them to pages in the desk across from me. I grabbed my go-bag and walked over.
"Er, hey," I started and she looked up from her pad of sticky notes, "I'm Dr. Spencer Reid, we're all supposed to meet up at the jet in twenty minutes..."
She tilted her head and scrunched her brows together, "I-uh, I could show you where it is if you don't know where to go." I blurt out quickly anxious to see what she would do.
To my surprise she smiled and nodded.
"OK, let's go." I say as she picked up her sticky notes, file, and her bag.
Hannah Riley POV
Dr. Reid seems nice, I thought following him to the jet.
The black Agent joined walking with us and he introduced himself, "Hey Agent Riley," I looked up to show him I was paying attention and he continued, "I'm Derek Morgan, I think you were right about the unsub being female."
I nodded and continued to follow Dr. Reid.
When we reached the jet I sat down across from Morgan and Spencer sat down in the seat across the isle. I opened my file and continued to write down notes, differences, similarities, and theories as everyone else arrived and sat down.
She shows remorse, so she fe- I was writing down another note when my pen just ran out of ink. The crease of the word was on the paper, but no ink.
"You need a pen?" Morgan asked as I tried to shake the ink out, but of course that wouldn't work.
I shook my head and tucked my now ink-less pen into my left pocket, thanks, but no thanks I carry five pens with me at all time. I reached into my right pocked, pulled out another pen and continued writing.
I finished my note as the plane started up. I plucked my theories and, important things to point out and closed the file as their conversation started.
As their conversation went on they pointed out almost everything I had pointed out on my notes and I stuck them back onto their appropriate paper. I pulled out a clear sticky note and wrote my thoughts on it, when I finished it it seemed Morgan was the only one that realized I wanted to contribute.
I shoved the note into his hands and he read it aloud, "Agent Riley thinks the unsub was jealous of these women."
I opened the file to a picture of the crime scenes and pointed out where the unsub cut the victims, Morgan continued, "... The unsub cut out the victims sexual organs, it could be her way of saying they took it for granted."
Everyone murmured their approval and agreements as I closed my file.
"When we land, Morgan and Riley will head to the morgue, Rossi and JJ will interview the victims parents and friends, the rest of you will look over the crime scenes." Hotch stated and everyone began doing their own thing.
I pulled out a small sketch pad from my go-bag and flipped to an unfinished drawing and continued it while others looked over the file, read, or listened to music.
Derek Morgan POV
She had a lot of good ideas, but everyone had their own way of contributing to a case. What made her fit for this job?
She pulled out a pad of paper and a pencil as I pulled out some head phones and flicked on the music. She flipped to a page and I could see a faded outline of the drawing on the previous page.
As I observed her a question floated through my head and I knew everyone else was thinking the same thing: Why won't she speak? And what's she thinking?...
So how'd you like it? I thought it'd be nice to have her slightly mute as a twist, cuz I like twists and i know someone else out there does too. I LOVE YA'll!!!
P.S. 1094 words!!
