It was like any other night but, it was friday 13th, which didn't bother me at all, my family were at work it was only me and my sister, Jane. I was just downstairs in the old green chair that sits in front of the TV, watching TV when my sister came running down stairs. "Hey mason!!!" Jane came to sit in the red broken chair next to me. "Wha't up?" She asked me. "Nothing just watching the news. We are supposted to get a storm." I had answered her. "Oh I heard everything just flys around at school now doesn't it?" She replied. "Flys like a bee." I agreed.  "How's Alice?" I asked. "She doing fine." I replied grinning. Alice was a skinny, tall, brown haired girl, she's also my girl friend. "That's good? What's on the news?" She studied the TV. It had a report of two people who were killed, those two people were mom and dad. I heard Jane scream, her make up dripping due to her impulsive acknowledment of the deaths. Hearing that girl scream was like a nail to a chalkboard, it's very scratchy and high pitched. "They're long gone at this point." I told jane. Her phone had started buzzing, she reached for it. "It's Alice." She told me and then picked up her phone, putting it to her ear.
"Hey Alice." I heard a soft voice repond next.
"Omg are you guys ok?!"
"Mason and I are just fine." I knew jane was not ok, but Alice didn't question much farther because Jane hung up.
"Someone killed them" She told me her blue ice cold eyes looked up to me from under her lashes that was covered by her light brown hair, almost a creamed color. "And?" Asked questioned. "That means they probably wanting something, they may come after us too you know." Still giving me a darking look from underneath her lashes. The look wan't so nice, it made me squorm in my seat, my skin crawled. "Yes i know." I said frightened. Who would kill them?
