his life changed at 3:38AM on the 22nd of march 2006. everything changed at 3:38AM on the 22nd of march 2006. it was the constant vomiting and harsh nosebleeds that set off panic alarms, but it was the seizure at 3:38AM on the 22nd of march 2006 that changed the way he lived.

it was the way his mother broke down in tears beside him as they sat in the doctor's office, and it was the way he sat, numb and staring at the wall. it was the way the doctor kept his eyes closed for a couple of seconds, almost as if it was his world was crumbling around him, that really threw him off balance.

it was the way the family all came round for dinner on the 29th of march, and it was the way they all sat in morbid silence that took a toll on him. it was the way his grandmother tried not to cry for his sake, and it was the way his mother had to excuse herself halfway through and it was the way you could hear her sobbing from the bathroom.

it was the way his family said goodbye to him like it was the last time they ever would, and it as the way his fellow students looked at him in the hallway that annoyed him. it was the way people only really seemed to care when you were dying that really pissed him off.

it was the way his bullies stopped tormenting him like they felt sorry for him, and it was the way the teachers would sneak glances at him in lessons and frown sadly, almost as if they were going to miss him.

it was the way that he eventually had to stop going to school and give up his education to survive, and it was the way he stopped seeing his friends. it was the way that he couldn't live his life to the full that hurt him emotionally.

it was the way frank iero was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 17 that really ruined everything.
