It's been a few days since I woke up. Man, has it been a weird week- or three days. Whatever. First I find out, hey you can light on fire! Second, apparently these bombings have been happening all around the world. Also, when I first saw John after waking up the first thing I do is vent and explode. Not exactly a good way to say that you're ok. But I nearly killed him. I felt terrible, and apologized as many times as possible, but he said he was fine, his new plant powers make him heal faster. That's not how it works man, just because you heal faster doesn't mean it's ok to get hurt more easily, godfuckingdammit.

Josh's always been the fun twin. He goes out skateboarding with me and helps me out with homework that we both always forget about. But Henry, well, he was always the good twin. The one that always reminded us to put on our helmets before going skateboarding, tell us to get enough sleep, the usual nagging stuff. Well, as much nagging as a mute person can do. He wasn't always mute, though... But no matter how much we teased him, he was our friend and brother. He didn't deserve to be out cold on a hospital bed. I could tell Josh was taking this this hard. No matter how hard he tries to fake his smile, it wasn't happening. I could tell he was worried about Henry.

I forgot to mention that we weren't the only ones with these strange "powers". There are a few other people here, too.

We only know what the security guard would tell us, which is literally nothing, so we don't really know anything about the other people who are here.  Theres a young Russian girl who seems to be about 7 or 8, and another Russian guy who seems to be about 16 or 17 (They were probably hit in the same explosion). He seems pretty intense. He's been staring at the wall like it murdered his mother for the past few minutes. There's also this girl who's got long black hair, but we don't see her around much. That's all we know, since they refuse to tell us who the other patients are in case they- well, they.... don't make it. We've been kind of awkward since the black haired girl always seems to be away, and neither Josh nor I can speak Russian. I doubt that they use sign language, which is the only other option we might've had.

Henry woke up today. This news was the world to Josh. He sparked up immediately, running towards the room Henry had been in, a trail of flowers following him. Ha ha, plant powers. It's been six days since I woke up. I think. Man, forgetfulness definitely runs in the family. Family... Raven. I can't think about that. I know she'd want me to go see Henry, being a psychologist, or whatnot.

As I walked in, I saw Henry sitting on the bed sipping water, listening to his brother telling him all about our new acquaintances. I almost laughed at the sight of Josh waving his arms enthusiastically and telling corny jokes. I must've chuckled, because Josh looked toward me and immediately stopped talking.

"Did I interrupt something?" I innocently asked.

"Oh come on Ryan, I was getting to the good part, too." Josh responded, rolling his eyes. I laughed.

"Oh come on Josh, Henry just woke up, he doesn't need to hear you spouting stories of our fantastical adventures!" I playfully punched him in the arm. Suddenly, he was bleeding.

"Woah, dude, did I do that? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I don't know how-"

"It's fine. These powers come with that downside. I couldn't even bump into the table this morning without a scratch." As he said that, a small blade of grass wrapped itself around his arm, multiple times, until it covered the wound, then fell off and his skin was as good as new.

"Dude, that will never not amaze me."

Henry hugged him from behind. My heart sank. I had completely forgotten he was there. I felt bad now. I just made his brother bleed and he probably didn't know what was even happening. Luckily for us, the doctor came in to break the awkward silence.

"Boys, I'll need to perform a last check up on Henry before he can leave. If you'll just give me a moment, Henry can be up and ready to leave by tomorrow."

Henry got the message and reluctantly let go of Josh. He gave me the "explain what's happening or I will make you" glare as I left. I tried to look to the positive side and thought of how wonderful it was that Henry had woken up, and that Josh must be so excited. But that led my mind back to Raven. The doctors refused to tell me more on her condition, and I couldn't do a thing to help.
