Caydence's POV
"Hey girl you're coming out tonight right?" my friend Ashley asked.
"I don't know Ash, I'm really broke right now and I have an assignment to finish before tomorrow night." I really hate going out with no money, watching everyone get drunk around me and being a sober Sally.
"Bitch, I am your friend and if I have money you have money. Now put on something sexy so we can finesse a cutie into buying our drinks." Ashley wiggled her eyebrows, causing me to laugh.
I have to admit, Ashley can always raise my spirits. Lately I've been so upset because I haven't been able to find a job and it's been weighing heavily on me. Ever since I moved to Georgia I've pretty much been on my own. My parents send me money when they get a chance but they're far from loaded so I feel bad for asking. I just wish someone would give me a shot because I know I'm capable of being an amazing worker.
Forget about that for now, let's turn up, I thought. I wasn't going to let my unfortunate situation ruin my night.
Drew's POV
"Bro I'm so bored, let's step out tonight," my boy Evan said as we played 2k.
"Where are you trying to go?" I wasn't really feeling going out tonight but then again I could use some drinks
"Let's go to Basement Bar. We haven't been there in forever."
"Bet. Let me go shower and shit." I hopped up and headed to the bathroom to get ready.
1 hour and 30 minutes later:
As Evan and I rolled up to Basement Bar, we saw that it was PACKED. I mean I don't even know how the girls were in there twerking, but they made room somehow. We headed to the bar and ordered two Crown Royal & Cokes to start us off. As I was putting the cup up to my mouth, I felt someone bump into me from behind, spilling some of my drink.
"BIT---" I was so prepared to lay into whoever it was, but when I back I laid eyes on the most beautiful girl in the spot.
