"Picture perfect memories, scattered all around the floor.. wishing you could see the way you did before.. "
It was once the life they knew, far from the winds of Glade that called them in. It was once, just between them, them alone.
They thought they could live a normal life but they think it's a mission and they can feel that their goal was forced to set there. On saving everybody.
Newt. The tall, blonde and gorg glader is the second- in- command of Alby, stood looking beyond the walls that separated them away from their once happy and carefree life.
Newt stood beside Thomas who's currently curious beyond the walls that stood tall from the glade. Little did he know, the dangers and the perils he might encounter if he pursue and go beyond his curiosity.
Teresa, who was currently helping Frypan to do all the work, secretly watching Thomas from afar. Finally, She remembered Their friendship that grew and developed into love. For her.
She has a secret affection for him since day one. Her stares are noticeable easily. She would look at him if he isn't looking, She would rather stare at him all day, without him noticing.
"Teresa, I can notice that you're staring at Thomas all day. It kinda makes me curious though." Newt said as he noticed Teresa's blushing face across her face started to heat even more. She was shocked at the same time for what she thought was Newt was only beside Thomas and in a blink, he's beside her.
"Oh, No. I am staring at the glade, Because I- uh.. curious of beyond those walls." She said stuttering and at the same time, she was lying.
"Do not lie to me, Teresa. I knew it since day one. Come on, I'm not going to tell everybody. Even, Thomas." Newt whispered softly, smiling.
"Oh, Thanks." Was all that Teresa said. "I think I could help you with your feelings." Newt told her.
"No, I'm fine." Teresa said sternly. She doesn't want to ruin their friendship. Friendship built before where they are now in this cursed place.
"Come on, As a friend. I could help you with that. And I think Thomas likes you." He said laughing.
"You're lying! I mean, Seriously, Why would he like me?" Teresa exclaimed as she was surprised of Newt's statement.
"Teresa, You and Thomas were maybe.. you know, I think you guys were inseparable before this- this happened." Newt explained.
"I think I'm just going to sit up there." Teresa pointed to the place where Thomas and Her met again.
"Okay. Suit yourself, daydreamer!" Newt teasingly smiled at Teresa. "You wish!" Teresa smiled and head back on her way.
Teresa finally reached the top. It was a pretty good view up there. A pretty good view of grievers, I guess.
"Finally, No one can disturb me here." Teresa said in a relief. Before she knew it, she heard a sound coming upstairs. But she didnt give her attention to that thing.
"You thought!" Thomas jokes as he makes his way to sit beside her. "What the shuck, Thomas? What are you doing here?" Teresa said nervously as she was controlling her blush.
"I am just viewing my shucking life up here." He sighed desperately. Teresa can notice the sadness in his eyes. Her hand landed on his shoulder to pat his back.
"We'll be fine. We'll get used to it. Just think of the positive things that will help you think that these things will turn out fine." Teresa said in the most comforting way. She faintly smiled while looking at him.
"Okay. Like, what?" He asked her. "Like, someday we're going to get out of this hellish place and we will have our lives back. Isn't that beautiful?" Teresa answered blushing and thinking about her life with Thomas in the future. They will have their jobs, a house and children.
"Yes, you are beauti- Oh, I mean what you said is indeed beautiful and positive." Thomas nervously said, shaking.
"I am what?" Teresa curiously asked as she can feel the heat on her cheeks flushed once again.
"Uhm.. You are beautiful. " Thomas finally said, blushing too. His eyes tried not to look at Teresa because, It might cause him again to shake.
"Oh, Thank you." Teresa said plainly but, inside she's screaming and her face heated and her knees shook.
"I have something to tell you, Teresa." Thomas told her seriously. Thomas held Teresa's hands and She can't feel herself anymore.
"I really do.. love you." He confessed as he carressed her cheeks and looked at her eyes deeply. She held his hands tightly as she whispered, "I do love you too. I always have." She smiled as he kissed her forehead and hugged her even more.
