The red ribbons she wore around her neck were chains
Dragging her down 'till she couldn't bear the pain
And he forced her to assimilate
To the sadistic society that he called great
She toiled and toiled but she called herself pampered
And with her exquisite innocence he tampered
'Till all she could see were stars of grey
Made of sharp sneers, reflecting his face
The sky was black, her heart was white
She was given two choices: fight or flight
But alas, her fists only gave grace
And her legs wore out in the shortest race
The whip came towards her, startlingly clear
Her heart clenched with inexplainable fear
And the whip went crack
Her world went black
