Dragon Knight

Prologe

Ethan stood, battered and torn. His sheild, thrown aside. His sword, chipped and dented, but still good enough to kill with. Befor him stood his enemy, the greatest of beasts, the last dragon. Equaly battered, his wings torn, and his eye gouged out. They stood for a moment and aknowlaged each other, paying their respects.
"You have been a worthy opponent." It said. "But only one of us can leave here alive."
"Then I will aknowlage your strangth when I see your head on my wall every day." Ethan said as he raised his sword, preparing to fight again.
The dragon bowed its head for a moment.
"And I will add your scull to my collection befor night fall." Its head shot up as it lunged. Ethan lept into the air avoiding the strike and landed on the back of the dragons head. The dragon pulled back, but he kept his balance, turning to see the soft spot of skin behind the dragons frill, a small patch of skin that is placed directly above the brain. Ethan drew his sword back and plunged it deep into the dragon head. It began to rith in pain fighting to stay alive, even though it new with was futile, Ethan jumped from its back as it began to lay still and nelt by its face.
"May Sebath grant you passage into her great relm, and may you fly forever in the next life." As he finished, the dragon stoped moving and looked up at him.
"And may you find peace in this one." And with that, the great beast died. He looked down at his sword, it was far to chipped and dull to behead such a strong beast, even after death. Turning, he saw the dragons cave, with its mountains of treasure, treasure that by natural law belonged to him. Among the hords lay a sword, golden hilted and steel bladed, in perfect condition. He strode in and took the sword and filled his riding satchel with gold and jewels befor returning to the work of taking the dragons head. If only he had looked more, he would have found its three greatest treasures tucked away safely in the corner.
