Katie's POV- ''Danielle you almost ready were gonna be late for guitar lessons,''I shout from the bottom of her stairs. Me and Danielle have been best friends since 1st grade and were now in 7th. I was at her house yelling at her to move faster from the bottom of the stairs. "hold on you're so impatient i'm almost ready just putting socks on,''Danielle shouts from her bedroom. About 5 minutes later she comes down. "I don't understand how putting socks on takes this long,''I say with cheeky smile."Well you'll know if you try putting socks on wet feet it's very difficult,''Danielle says. I laugh and we walk to guitar lessons together.
"good morning girls,"James says. James is our guitar teacher me and Danielle went around asking college students if they played guitar and would teach us. Several said yes but we liked James the best."so what are we doing today,''Danielle asks. "Well Niall Horan came out with a new song called This Town I could teach you that. Or whatever song you want to learn. I discovered this guy called Conor Maynard and he's amazing,''James says. Me and Danielle look at each other and smile."Omg Conor Maynard is are biggest inspirations ever and our favorite singer of course,''I say excitedly."We could learn his song R U Crazy on the guitar and you can sing it,''James says. "I'd like learning it on the guitar but singing it is a little too much. You know we both have terrible stage fright,''I say."look I heard both of you singing just the other day and you sounded amazing,''James says reassuringly. "Maybe we'll see,"Danielle says.
"Hey can you to go grab the guitars in my room I forgot to bring them out in the living room,''James says.Me and Danielle open the door to his room and walk in. We turn the lights on and omg were we shocked. Conor Maynard was standing in the room ."Surprise,''Conor shouts and James says as he comes up behind us. Danielle and I start crying tears of joy. Conor pulls us both into a hug and he is the best huger in the world. "I guess i'll go if I made you cry I didn't realize you hated me that much that I made you both cry,''Conor says with a smile.We both laugh"well for starters girls are a lot more emotional than guys,''Danielle says. " And 2 i'm on my period I have very painful cramps and well were just more emotional then we normally are,''I say. James and Conor laugh"I like you two already you make people laugh and that's a good quality to have,"Conor says with a smile. Me and Danielle side glance at each other and smile. After taking hundreds of pictures and posting them on all social medias we go into the living room and sit down.
"How are you here though,''I question."Believe it or not i'm very good friends with Conor,''James says. ''Really,but how'd you know me and Katie were HUGE Conor Maynard fans,'' Danielle asks."lets just say I know both of you wrote a fanfic about him and you're always posting stuff that has to do with him,''James smiles. "Oh can I read your fanfic,"Conor asks. Me and Danielle instantly looks at each other and shouts"NO,"we both laugh."fine,so anyway I heard you two love singing,''Conor says with a huge smile."ding ding ding that is correct,''I say. "But there's only one problem we both have really bad stage fright,''Danielle says. "That's why I'm here to help you both. James called me last night and told me you sung a little for him and you sounded amazing,but that you both have stage fright,''Conor says. Me and Danielle blush.
"Conor do you want to know why you're my biggest inspiration? It's because you know when I was little I was like I'm totally gonna become a singer when I grow up. But then reality hit me smack in the face. I didn't think I was a good singer so I just stopped singing all together. Then a miracle happened and I discovered you. I loved your music and your humor and so I just started singing more and I sung in front of my friends sometimes. That was a huge step for me cause I never sung in front of anyone before. I'd love to be able to sing in front of people but I can't I have stage fright ,''I say."wow I really love it when I inspire someone it gives me such a good feeling.Katie and Danielle I'm really here to help you accomplish you're fear.To start I need to hear you both sing it's just me and James I want you to sing Royalty if you know the whole song,''Conor says."but I don't know if we can,''I say nervously. "look if you say you can't then you can't you can were not gonna get anywhere if you don't do this. Do you know all of Royalty,''Conor asks."Well of course we wouldn't be mayniacs if we didn't know,''I say.
"Okay then take it away you can sing together if you want,''Conor says. All four of us head to where the microphones are. Me and Danielle start singing,''If i had the money let me tell you how it will be I'll take over the country everyone would bow to me sit up in my palace and baby you'd be my queen we'd run this ship together just you wait and see we'll be royalty,''we sang. We finish the song and James and Conor clap. "That was amazing see I told you Conor they were amazing,''James says. "Yes you were 100% correct,''Conor says smiling. We both blush "i'm glad you think that,''I say."In order to take this further you two have to sing in front of more people and keep practicing so you feel more comfortable. That's why I want both of you to fly back to London with me for two weeks so we can take this further,''Conor says."Are you serious this, this is amazing thank you,''Danielle says. Me and Danielle hug each other. "Holy shit i'm going to live my dream going to London with my best friend and my idol,''I say and start to cry tears of joy again. "Here she goes again with the crying,''James laughs.
"Okay if you ever switch genders for a day and get your period you'll understand how painful and emotional it is,''I say. Everyone laughs,''But what about our parents what if they don't let us go,''Danielle asks."I already talked to both of yours and they all said yes,"Conor smiles."Danielle pinch me so I know this isn't a dream,''I ask. ''Okay,''she says and pinches me. "Oww not that hard crazy.Well at least I now know i'm not dreaming,''I say smiling. "Yeah you're definitely not dreaming.When are we leaving,''Danielle asks. "Our flight leaves in about 5 hours so we should leave in about 3 or 4,''Conor says. "Omg I'm so excited we have to go home and pack,''I say. "Yeah we should get going," Danielle says. "Okay bye I'll pick you both up at Katie's in a few hours so be ready,''Conor says. "Okay bye,''me and Danielle say walking out the door.
Me and Danielle skip happily down the road to our houses. "I still can't believe we met our idol and now were going to London with him for 2 whole weeks,''Danielle says. "Me neither i'm so excited,'' I shout back at her as I walk into my front door all happy.
