"We must send her above!" screamed Satan. Diane was going to give birth to a baby girl in two days. The child would not survive in Hell considering that Diane was of God's creation. After birth Lyra, which was the child's name, would be quickly transported through the underworld to civilization. Now, Satan may not seem like one to care, but he wanted a future for Lyra. He wanted her to be safe, and the only sensible option that the Devil was open to was to send his only daughter away.
