We had an old car. Thats all i knew about the car: it was old. I didnt know much about cars but i knew that it was not good to have old car. I was sixteen then. I was sixteen reading louis lamour and sartre and i knew it was not good to have old car. We didnt need car. My father just wanted one so he got what he could afford. Again i was sixteen reading karl may and chesterton but i knew. I remember one particular occasion when i was ashamed of the fact our car was old. Its still with me. I wont bother you with details. Its still with me. Thats enough to say.

Now im twenty eight and i want a car. I dont need it. I can do without it. But i want it. Ok its true- my life would improve significantly- no more public transport, no more dependance. But thats not that. I just want it. I want is as a man wants a woman. I dont need it like some people need a haircut. I just want a car.

And yes, i would settle for the one we had. Or even older.
