"Just 14 more hours yayy..." I hear my brother say from the back. I totally forgot that he was there, he's been really quiet sence dad moved out. He looked at me, "don't hook up with any boys when we get down there, I don't want to beat anyone!" he said with a smirk. I giggled, my brothers name is Devin, and he is 17. I'm 15, and he is VERY protective over me. I put in my headphones and turned on the 'road trip' playlist. It mostly consisted of Before You Exit. who's before you exit you ask? JUST THE BEST BAND EVER. Soldier came on and I fell asleep.
*4 hours later*
"GET UP DELLI IM STARVING!" Devin screamed. I rolled over and looked at him. We look a lot alike, same brown hair and strickeing blue eyes. "okay okay, I'm coming Devi!" we went in the small diner and ordered. this guy kept staring at me strangely, my brother noticed and screamed "EYES OFF MY DELLI OR ILL BREAK YOUR EYES." The man looked at us weird and turned around. "Thanks devi!"
We finished eating and got back in the car. "HOW MUCH LONGER MOMMAY!" me and Devin said at the same time. "Another 10 hours you guys." me and Devin were sharing the back seat sence mom put her stuff in my seat. "You can lay on my lap if you want delli." my brother said, "thank you devi, I appreciate it." I said smiling. we are all eachother has left, because my mom works so late, we are really close. Devin is my best friend now.
Me and Devin woke up to the sound of a phone clicking. Mom was taking a picture of us. "Ughh merrmayyahh we're sllerepppngggghhhh" me and Devin said at the same time. "Well, were 6 hours away, so I decided we should stay at a hotel. come up here's the room key, I'll be taking a shower." Then she left. "Here Delli, I'll carry you up." I got on his back and fell asleep.
* Devins pov*
"Here delli I'll carry you" I said letting her on my back. We all knew that mom was actually going out, no big secret. Delli is all I have left, I love her so much. She's my little sis, and I wouldn't let anyone tough her. we got up to the room an I layed her on the right side of the bed. "good night delli." I said kissing her forehead, "goodnight bwoder" she said half asleep. I lie my little delli soo much.
