I had been waiting for them. On the other side of that door, I knew they would come. A human, and, they had no good intentions. I could tell, even before they got here. I was at my post when they arrived, and little did I know, that would be the last time I would see Snowdin. At least, not for a long, long time.

When the human arrived, I was prepared. Whoopee cushion, check. I hid amongst the trees and waited eagerly. I heard their snowy footsteps, and I made my move. As I was just about to step on the twig that always lays in the same old convenient spot, I felt something grab my arm and cover my mouth. I felt the heat from my eye as it lit a fiery blue, and I raised my arm up. Gaster Blasters surrounded me and the mysterious creature. Just then, I was stabbed in the thigh with some sort of needle. Everything around me began to swirl as I fell onto the snow covered path. The human looked back, but didn't seem to see me or the mysterious figure, as everything went dark.

I awoke later in what seemed like a blank abyss of, well, nothing. I threw my arms up and tried to summon a Gaster Blaster, but it didn't work. I felt a tug that made me cringe. I looked down and inspected my soul, which was wrapped tightly in a string-like substance. I glanced around frantically as I tried to summon Blasters over and over, each time failing miserably, each time, getting more and more frantic. As I eventually calmed down, I noticed that there was a dark shadow standing behind me, laughing in short, glitchy episodes.

"I knew you'd finally calm down," The figure said. "Sans" I utterednota word. I was too frightened to do so anyhow. I inspected the shadowy figure. He looked similar to myself, but his bones were a dark shade and he seemed to be... Glitching?
