Ugg this week is just not for me.
Joey is still taking his sweet time on getting ready so i think im going to just have a little look in the fridge see if there is anything good. Sadly as i open the door i realize that there is almost nothing in there but fruits and eggs oh and my peace tea. :( i guess ill just have to take my peace tea and stop starring into the fridge like a lost puppy because im sure i dont look very attractive right this minute.
As i turn around i see Sawyers girl whatever she is and she is just looking at me with a worried expression but like she wants to say something to me. So to hopefully get her talking i just wave at her and a couple seconds after she says "Hey i never got to say this earlier but i like your shirt"
"shes not goona hurt you" Sawyer assured as the girl looked like she was really frightened
"but if you touch my food watch your back" i responded sucessfully making her laugh
I noticed the girl looking behind me so I turned around to see Joey at the bottom of the stairs.
"Its about time" I complained
"well it takes more than three seconds to get this pretty"
"uh whatever lets go"
"oh uh by the way my name is Victoria" the girl greeted"
"Oh yeah sorry im Gemma, nice to meet you" I responded while linking my arm with Joey's.
"well I hope to see you around soon but we are goona go" I added
She just waved and then followed Sawyer into the kitchen.
"I think she seems nice" I said to Joey
He didn't really respond he just opened the car door for me.
"Oh thanks but actually can we walk?"
"sure" he responded while putting his arm around my back. A little bit of walking and we arrived at a star bucks so me being me I begged Joey to stop here and go in with me so that I could get my mocha cappachino (I don't know how to spell that and im too lazy to look it up) I got up to the counter and there was a guy standing with the name tag of Derek. He was busy talking to his co-worker, but after two minutes of standing there being ignored I tried to get his attention but I ended up just snapping my finger in front of his face.
"oh hey what can I get you sexy lady" he asked while giving me a look that I am not very fond of.
I gave him my order not paying attention to his acts, Im not being mean right? Joey is standing right next to me and he said something like that. since we are waiting here I decided to give Joey a kiss in order to make him feel less uncomfortable. He seemed to calm down after I did that, but i could still feel that he didnt like this very much. I got my order and paid and as i turned around i heard a whistle, and i knew exactly who it was from.
You see as we came in here i thought i recognized a few people sitting at a tabble but i just pushed it out of my mind but it all clicked when i heard that. Over the past couple years there is a group of boys who just go around town and basically hit on girls. Yeah the last time Kayla and i were out was when i saw them and i had hopped i wouldnt have to see them again, well my hopes ended up shattered. I dont really feel like dealing with them so i think i will just continue walking. So i continued to the door and ignored them.
"is that how you feel when im with all my fans?" Joey asked sounding a little bit hurt
"Uh kinda, i mean i trust you but i dont trust them at all"
We just kept walking farther and we eventually came up to a playground and being as childish as i am decided that it would be fun to go mess around. haha im right i said to myself as i headed to the slides.As i went down the blue curvy slide i noticed a little girl laying on a bench, there was nobody around her and she is wearing a torn hoodie and khaki type pants.
"Hey should we go like ask what happened"I asked while looking at the girl
"Uh yeah sure"
As i got close to the girl i said "hey sweety wake up"
she quickly awoke and looked at us in utter fear before she curled her legs into a fetal position.
"Hey we arent goona hurt you but why are you out here alone"
"I-i-i" she stuttered "i dont have anyone"
"What do you mean" i asked really confused at this point
"i left, they didnt want me"
"well are you hungry" i asked and her eyes lit up at the mention of food
"yeah" she responded
I reached to grab her hand and when she stood up i noticed she had torn up shoes so i asked
"Hey you want a piggyback ride?" ( i forgot to mention she is like seven)
"Yeah!" she exclaimed and i looked at Joey and i guess he got the message because he sat on the bench near her and helped her on the bench to give her easier acces to get on his back.Once they were all done situating themselves Joey stood up and grabbed my hand while he hald the girls legs with the other.
"So whats your name" i asked
"Jamie" she answered
"well Jamie what do you want to eat"
"it doesnt matter to me!" she said with one of the most adorable smiles i have ever seen
"well then lets head to whataburger and put a couple pounds on this girl" i directed to Joey and we headed in the direction of whataburger.When we arrived I ordered while Joey and Jamie went to find a seat. I walked beack and sat next to Joey with Jamie on the other side of the booth.
"i have to use the bathroom"Jamie interrupted
"Oh okay its over there" i said pointing in the direction of the signs of boy and girl "are you okay to go alone" i asked
"Yup" she smiled and walked away
when she was out of sight i asked Joey "what do we do now, do we take her to the police station and ask about a missing child"
"Yeah we can do that but i really would like to get her new clothes and shoes first because she might not be coming back to us if we take her there and i dont want to leave her there with those torn clothes"
"You want her to come back with us?"
"Kinda i mean i think im ready and she is already seven so we dont have to worry about potty training, i dont know its just she is adorrable and i think we are ready for a seven year old im just not ready for a baby"
"i agree and who said we would loose her if we faught for her?" i asked kissing Joey
"Your right"
Just as we finished our conversation Jamie came back with smile on her face and she sat down and just sat there still.
"Are you finnished" i asked
"yup" she giggled
" alright well we were thinking that maybe we could go do some shopping or something its only 3:30 so the shops around here dont close for a while"
"I dont have any money" she answered simply
"dont worry we do" i said pointing to myself and Joey causong her to laugh while we got up to throw all our trash out.
