Adriel, an Archangel.

(Adriel is in the universe of the TV show Supernatural.)

Adriel had a terrible childhood and she knows it, but she tries her hardest to be as happy as she possibly can. She is around thirteen years old and is smarter than most people twenty years older than her. Her bright blue eyes shine with constant emotions, some that are impossible to decipher.

If you asked her the simplest question, like why was the sky blue,  she'd somehow find a way to make it sound like the most beautiful thing you'd ever heard. If you asked her about herself, she'd give you a smile and tell you that her life was a story for another day.

Her dark, practically purple hair falls down to her shoulders, framing her face perfectly without effort. She loves to pull her hair back and braid it, just like her mother would do. If you asked her about her mother, she would tell you that she regrets everything.

She would say that she regrets how she never got a chance to tell her mother that she was sorry for all the times she screwed up, for everything mean she did. For every time they fought, she hated herself a little bit more inside because she loved her mother to death. She'd say that if she had another chance, she would do everything differently, change everything. That she hates everything she ever said to her mother, that she just wished she had a chance to tell this to her mother before she was ripped away from her. She'd say that she wish she had hugged her mom, told her that everything she did for her meant the world and that she loved her more than the grass loved the sun.

If you asked her about her brother, she'd start crying.

Xavier was everything to her, once their mom was gone; killed by the people who wanted them dead too. He protected her through everything, no matter what she did or what she said. She'd tell you about the night she was taken, kidnapped, drugged and stolen away from her brother.

She'd explain -through the tears- that men jumped out of the bushes as they walked through the park, the sun setting slowly behind them as they smiled and talked about absolutely nothing at all. She'd take a breath and explain in amazing detail how the men grabbed her, pulling her away; dragging her by her beautiful lavender wings that looked almost opal in the light, constantly changing color.

Then she'd have to look anywhere but at you and tell you about how Xavier tried to fight back, and she couldn't stop screaming. She fought back and ran to his side, right as a man stabbed him int he chest and he fell to the ground. She ran to his side and sobbed as he smiled up at her, the light dimming in his eyes as he told her he loved her before she was yanked up and taken.

If you asked her what happened next, she'd simply say that they took her to a facility and tested things on her, tortured her, for the next three years until she was finally rescued.

Adriel knew she didn't have a very good life so far, but she knew that it was now her job to change that fact. If you saw her on the streets, you'd see her smiling and helping other; the only thing she knew how to do. And you'd smile too, because she has that effect on people.
