The history of Pompeii is long and mostly unknown. Though we do understand some of what the Romans of Pompeii went through, from the beginning to the end and right up to their new beginning. The ruins of the ancient city is probably one of the worlds most interesting and archaeological outstanding finds in human history, showing vividly how we lived in the first century AD. However, to really understand the history of this city, one has to really understand the rest of what it was.
