Chapter twenty: forever in spirts...

Jaylen's POV***

I put on the outfit (the bottom outfit) and smiled, I put on red lipgloss and brown eyeshadow, I huffed a breath and I put on gold bracelets and a gold necklace, I heard a slight knock on the door,

"Yea?!" I said moving the straightening brush from my hair, Sam walked in and I finished brushing my hair, I put it in a Cinnabon bun and  I put bobby pins in, I turned around and smiled, he held out his hand and I gladly took it,

"Ready?" He smiled making my face flustered "No, I'm nervous!" I said hiding my face, he pulled me into a soft hug and kissed my forehead

"I'll be there on the side if you need support, I promise you" he said cheering me up just a bit, we both walked out and drove to the middle school

We both got out his car and walked in, two men tried to stop us but the girl from the carnival was outside

"Your here! And you look amazing!" She squealed making me giggle "Yea yea, you look fabulous," I said looking at her baby blue backless dress and black heels,

"Are you ready?" She asked we her voice sweeter than normal, "Yea, I'm ready," I said as she smiled brightly

We all walked in and I huffed, "gosh-" I said before Sam put his hand over my mouth "Middle school, no cursing," he said making me huff

"But so many kiddsss!" I said as he led me to the stage, we both walked on stage, I grabbed one of the guitars and playing with it

I started humming and started strumming, I looked at Sam smiling, I turned to see the girl smiling brightly, I started dancing and I spun in a circle

"Heyyy y'all!" I said putting the guitar back, everyone screamed and I helped the girl up, I pulled her to the side and raised my eyebrow

"Oh Jamie," she kindly said, I faked her a smile and she saw my eyes water, she pulled me into a hug and I smiled

"I'm sorry about everything," she said making me give her a playful glare, "No, it's okay, you look exactly like her to, so your putting a smile on my face," I smiled making her nod,

"Well, are you ready?" She asked looking at me "No mercy," I winked looking at her, she looked confused and I grinned walking back to the mic

"So, how y'all doin tonight?" I said looking at all the kids scream, "So, I'm going to sing, but it's a song from a good friend of mines," I grinned looking at Jamie, she looked confused

"Who?!" Everyone screamed loudly "So, you guys should all know Shawn Mendes right?" I said making them scream, "So I'm gonna sing mercy,"

I smiled and grabbed the mic of its stand, I hummed the first part and started singing, everyone screamed and started dancing

After I finished I walked over to Sam "I'm tired," I huffed as he smiled, he pecked my lips and I smiled

"I'm about as tall as you in these," I shrugged making him laugh "Not even," he smiled making me roll my eyes
