Grizzly Bears

Last summer I went with my father, mother, brother to America on a long trip. We drove a car around in America and Canada.

One day when we were driving in a national park. While I was in the car, I remembered that my dad told me like a couple days before that there were bears in the forest in the national parks. He said there were black bears and grizzly bears. But that the grizzly bears are one the most dangerous of all bears and are in America in a forest. They are about two meters tall and are very strong and have sharp claws.

He also said a story about a person who saw a big bear and a baby bear. The person went down to take some pictures, so the big bear got angry. It hit the camera away, so the person ran in the car. But the bear charged and the car was broken.

Then while we were driving, we saw a lot of cars parked by the road so we also went and parked by. We saw that there was like two or three grizzly bears a bit far away in the woods. The bears then came closer and closer, then when it went really close to our car, rangers(kind of like polices came and told us "STAY IN YOUR VEHICLES!"

After that, two grizzly bears came really near to our car, so we were all really excited and surprised. We watched and discovered that it was eating some berries from a bush. We took lots of pictures, and a few minutes, the rangers told us to leave.

We went was going to leave. But suddenly a small bear charged to the other side. My dad yelled

"WHOA"

And my dad stopped the car just in time. I looked at it and it was It was about 1.5 meters tall, with a hairy brown body, and sharp- looking claws.

"It's so cute!"my mom said

Then after we took a few pictures, we left. 

I think that it was a very exciting and cool and memorable thing that happened and I'll remember it.
