Hidden In The Darkness

I hide in the darkness.
This place that hides my soul
I won't be here for long
I can't keep hold.
This is my cliff.
I'm falling so fast
I'm afraid of sadness
I'm living in the past.
Memories swarm me
Like a hive of terrible bees
I remember everything,
All those terrible things.
Drowning I am in this endless world or just oceans and seas.
They all haunt me,
My demons in my dreams.
Remind me of my flaws
Remind me of my sadness.
They wound me.
Leaving blood on their claws
The only way to hide pain,
Is with pain
That's how they gain.
It's such a shame
It's all just a game.
A game with your demons
Some will win
Others will bleed,
Realizing what they needed.
Just what they know,
About why they bleed.
I hide in the darkness,
I crave the light,
They all chase,
Chase us into the night.
